Not only did she wake up super early to fit us in after we decided last minute that we wanted photos before we moved but she was so kind and wonderful with our baby and us that it made the whole process seamless. She gave us direction but didn't specifically pose us so it still felt organic which made our pictures feel polished but not fake. And the photos came out AMAZING!! I gotta say, I'm a photographer myself and I know what I'm looking at. Heather is as amazing a photographer as she is a person. My family was in town visiting and I thought I'd surprise them with family photos before they left. I had very limited time and was unfortunately only able to schedule a shoot that would start 2 hours before having to drop my family off at LAX. Heather said, no worries, we'd be fine if we shot at Docweller. She felt confident and genuinely excited to shoot us, so I went with it. I should also say my family isn't the easiest to tame. We met Heather at the beach and it was almost like watching a show. Heather was super friendly and extremely easy to work with, but her efficiency to get so many shots and so many combinations just blew me away. I still had to see the finished product, but I was already impressed how she got every combination of my family against different backgrounds.
