I highly recommend Alex Steele for your photo-shoot! We booked Alex to take anniversary photos of us around the city of Chicago in a 90-minute shoot. I am very type-A so I really appreciated the level of responsiveness and accommodation that Alex provided. She was very prompt with her email, I was able to discuss ideas I had months in advance, outfit options, and even shared my Pinterest board with her so she was very aware of what I was looking for and delivered just that! She also accommodated an outfit change and multiple locations. She spent just over two hours with us and did not rush through the photos at all, even offering suggestions or taking extra time to put us in certain poses or locations that would allow her a good shot. Our photos - digital and film style! - were delivered to us within two weeks and we were really happy with the results. She is clearly a talent and very good at what she does. During the shoot, she was so easy to work with and encouraging - always offering her honest opinion and making us feel happy and relaxed throughout. She took our family portraits, and managed our group very well. Alex arranged us, photographed us, checked the lighting, rearranged us, and kept at it until everything was just right. It was difficult to choose which photo to use for our Christmas card because she captured so many great ones!
