Heather Meadow DETAILED review Lived here for several years now, management here is horrible, current management company took over 2 years ago when the property was sold, complex has been going down since, Since the coronavirus pandemic one year ago, it has gotten a lot worse in the apartment complex with dependability from the management company. They have a satellite office here on location, their main office is in Bellevue, WA. (ICON) is the main management company, the satellite office here is open Tuesday-Thursday appointments only, if you call it goes straight to voice mail, No employee lives on property and there is never anyone here from management, if you call you will get the courtesy voicemail. Of course all the problems that occur here is usually on the Weekends or on Holidays. The old management company walked around the property to check twice a day for any issues, once in the morning and once late afternoon, I doubt that ICON that walked around the property once in the last 2 Years. You can also try to send an email "if" the icon main website if it's up and running and they have a maintenance form you can fill out. Maintenance will try to fix what's wrong and I've haven't had a problem with them, there were 2 maintenance people one was let go due to not being needed just hope you don't have an emergency in the middle of the night. Management will always post letters on tenants doors, informing tenants what issues they want to address but they are not here to enforce anything. Only 2 things you can count on them to do is, collect the rent and the required yearly apartment inspection. Parking lot lights in the entire complex have been out for almost 2 Years nothing but excuses when you asked when they are going to be fix and it's not safe, if you see people walking around with flashlights at night it's because there is no lights to help get into your car, and most of the building side lights are also burned out. But at least there's a playground. Paying rent doesn't guarantee you a parking place, parking is a constant issue, they will tell you have every tenant is allowed 2 parking spaces, there are tenants here with 3 or more cars and they will do nothing to enforce it, no parking stickers, no reserved parking spaces. There are always visitors parking in the resident lot and not in overflow like they are suppose too especially on Weekends and holidays, there is a problem with visitors and homeless in cars coming into the parking lots to sleep overnight. If you live close to the parking lot you will be woken up by drunks coming back from the bars., or cars idling playing loud music. . Trash cans are always full on Monday's and Thursday's, that is also pick up days, they will post notes on everyone's door telling you to not put the trash on the ground but place it in the can, kind of hard to do if the trash cans are always full. This is NOT a senior apartment complex nor or there "security" cameras posted on the property, like several websites state. There are seniors that live here, if there were "security" cameras they could catch the homeless driving into the parking lot to sleep at night and drive off before management gets here. Inside your apartment, all appliances are from when the apartments opened in 1976, they do not replace broken appliances they have a contractor come out and fix them, if something has be be removed to be repaired, you do without. Everything is 30 plus years old, the inside needs to be remodeled due to leaks, dry rot, no insulation, repairs not done correctly in the past. Most of the grounds upkeep is horrible most of the plants and bushes are half dead you only have to look at the them, on the grounds their solution is to dump wood mulch everywhere, the one area that has grass is a dumping ground for pet pooh, once again no enforcement everyone gets a note on their door. Several inaccuracies on several apartment posing websites, there are no security cameras, this is NOT a senior complex, fireplaces are for show only, internally they were collapsed by management years ago you will get smoked out if you try to use them, NO air conditioning, leave children on the playground unattended by adults at your own risk, and there's nothing on property that I would call a "courtyard" or "picnic" area, most of the reviews regarding the property are either several years ago or from people that don't live here. Before you rent an apartment here do your research. During your walk thru prior to moving in I would document everything and tell them you want repairs done within the first 30 days, there will be plenty. There is still zero communication with the management company, one example is 2 Weeks ago a roofing company came and updated the roofs of our apartments, zero notice from management, they came in and blocked off parking lots and threw down all the old nails and shingles on the sidewalks in from of the apartments then left big piles until the end of the week and then disposed of it. Tenants usually gets zero acknowledgement from the company. The management goes above and beyond to help and make the apartments a much better place to live. We do miss the assigned parking, but there is an abundance of parking. We do love the area that we live in close to the local college and mall. Several bus lines run right by the complex and go in to the heart of the town. We love the small town look and feel that We have found. We do enjoy the fact that the water is included as part of the rent. The complex has a small area with a jungle gym and barbecue that we can't wait to use when the weather gets a little warmer. We are so much happier now that we live here. read more

When I was looking for places Heather Meadows always came up. I moved from Anacortes to Aberdeen when I met the property manager I knew this was the place for me. She was so nice and helpful. When I had needed assistance with any issues what so ever the staff has always been there and ready to help. I would highly recommend Heather Meadows Apartments to anyone looking for a nice, safe, beautiful place to live. I have lived here for 9 months and am going to renew my lease to continue to live here. The manager goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is safe and in working order. this is the best place my fiance and myself have ever lived in. the managment are on the top of there game. the grounds and area are nicely groomed and maintained. they do many free comunity events to get the comunity envolved. if we could my fiance and I would give this place a hundred stars. there are also many things as a bonus being on of them is a gym open 24/7 what more could u ask for no more paying for expensive gym memberships. read more

I've lived here since Dec. 2008 and I have never had any problems with the staff or the apartment itself. The place is very comfortable and my son enjoys it just as much as I do. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. You expect them to do their job right and they do just that. Heather Meadows made our apartment search easy. We knew after meeting the manager it was the place we wanted to live. We have loved our time here. There's a great sense of community and we love the free community events, we have made some good friends through them. It's always clean and kept nice. We have lived here since September 09. During the first week, we had a major maintenance issue. The staff responded immediately & worked tirelessly until the issue was resolved. What a great place to live. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They are by far the nicest apartments in Grays Harbor. Lots of lighting at night that makes you feel secure, the grounds are kept nice and are improving all the time. Convenient location near the mall and college. I really like living here. I like being away from the mainstream of downtown Aberdeen. Everything is well taken care of. The manager is a wonderful person & a great help with anything. I moved into Heather Meadows Apartments in July, 2009. The staff is always friendly and always has a warm smile. I have had to call a couple of times for maintenance issues and they have always responded usually within 20 minutes of my call. Heather Meadows is one of the worst apartments in Grays Harbor. The noise level is unbearable. The manager does nothing when loud music is playing until 3 am on weekdays. The latest manager is hardly ever to be seen and seems to not care. read more
