My photography style is characterized by its vibrancy, true-to-color rendition, and boldness, ensuring that your memories are captured in all their radiant glory. One distinctive aspect of my service is the provision of a client closet stocked with maternity-friendly dress options for women, with some options for girls and babies. This addition is aimed at simplifying the process for expecting mothers, providing them with a range of choices that not only accentuate their beauty but also guarantee comfort during the photoshoot. My approach involves letting families be themselves, fostering a natural and unscripted atmosphere. Parents are encouraged to play, laugh, and interact with their little ones, while I capture those genuine moments of joy and connection. Rather, it's more about a keen eye, a creative mind, and the ability to understand how to please the client. That was my experience with Bruce last year at my friend's wedding and reception in Florence, OR. I saw him at work and I saw the pictures he took. Let me tell you, Bruce did an awesome job!. His pictures tell the story of a man and woman in love and how their families and friends came together to celebrate! Sure, there were a few posed pictures (all wedding have those) but I would say most of the time he was bouncing around getting the action as it was happening. Even have time to eat some good food too! I believe what impressed me the most was the fact that Bruce is friendly and very accommodating. It's the bride and groom's big day and it was great to see Bruce do what they wanted. Surely he had the bride and groom's best interest and their agenda in mind. I like that. It's my pleasure to highly recommend Bruce Berg Photography!

My youngest sister had her senior pictures taken by Bruce at Bruce Berg Photography. The whole…read moreexperience was fun and special for all of us who took part in it, and we were floored with the quality of the resulting products. Having initially met with a female employee who helped her describe her creative likes and dislikes, interests and personality, my sis was able to give her opinions about the type and style of photos and photo session she wanted. There were certainly lots of choices, styles and options available! Amazingly, Bruce was able to create and capture wonderful pictures of a teenager who dislikes being subjected to family photo sessions, and often refuses to smile or even look remotely engaged or approachable for the camera. The man is talented (and great with surly teens, apparently!). My sis is a photographer herself, and she really liked "talking shop" with Bruce during her session. I helped plan my sister's outfits, makeup and hair styling as well as offering my opinion with mom about which photos should be selected for the final prints. The difference in the experience between my senior photos and my sister's was significant. Bruce's business catered to making my sis feel like a mini-celebrity. Small details like a sign on the dressing room door with her name on it, a small basket of wardrobe fixers, bottled water, and extras were waiting her in the dressing room. Having an indoor studio with lots of decor ideas, and having Bruce take some lovely outdoor photos in some really cool scenery/backdrops was unexpected and fun. The decision-making was the toughest element of the whole process. The screening room was a great place to look at all the photos, and the woman who assisted us was patient, friendly and very nice, considering it took us awhile to reach a decision. Yes, the photos and packages are pricey, but the quality of the photos and the whole experience was priceless.

We booked long in advance of course and as luck had it our son was a little bit sick when he arrived... Peggy acted as though he was deathly ill, asked him to sit in a specific spot, rushed us along to do the shoot. We didn't bring many changes of clothing or anything, but to my knowledge we were paying for an hour of her time for all of this process. She RUSHED to get the pictures of my son done, the way she was acting you'd seriously think he was dying. One of the nicer touches was she offered to touch up my wife's make up and had handy things around to make sure the girls looked beautiful. The downside of the make up touch was my wife showed her during that process that her teeth aren't that great, to which it got brought up multiple times during the actual photo sessions "No one wants to show teeth huh!?" No, sorry. When I mentioned I didn't have front teeth she kinda just talked over me, which ties into what I brought up earlier, the rushing. We were there for a total of 35 minutes. During the clothing change of the girls, my wife sat in the area she designated my son to sit previously, to which she was kinda snapped at and told "That's my chair, there's other seating over here." Which is very confusing, but lead to her later emailing saying "These things happen, I am now sick." obviously blaming the illness on my son. Weird she was the only one this sickness passed to. I do like some of the pictures, well.. Like five of them. Out of I believe she said 142? I believe this is mostly because she just rushed us, and I really didn't like that one bit. The ONE family photo we got, which is what I personally REALLY wanted, my son is standing off away from the rest of the family.
