This florist ended up receiving a wired order from Flowers by Eva that I purchased. This was for a…read morefuneral spray that I paid 282.00 for and was for my brothers funeral. The funeral was a graveside at Klein Funeral Park on 2920 near Tomball. I was assured by the florist that I ordered thru, Flowers by Eva, that the order would be delivered prior to service at 10 am. I waited and waited for the order to be delivered and as a matter of fact, my husband and I were the last people to leave the cemetery. I had waited and the funeral director knocked on my car door and indicated a spray that had been delivered and thoughtfully extended the card to me so that I could see that it was the spray that I had been expecting before the service. I thanked him and when I got into the car, I called Floral Concepts Katy to find out what the issue had been. The man that answered the phone told me that the shop had received the order too late for it to arrive timely. Since there are at least 50 other flower shops that it could have been transferred to, just as it had been transferred to him, I'm not sure that could be considered a plausible excuse. The spray was alright though I had ordered a premium spray with roses and the order had been filled with garden variety white mums with a very minimum number of red rose spray across it. Everything would have been alright if the man that had answered the phone, had treated me with courtesy and respect as you should every customer and he had remembered he was dealing with the grieving oldest sister of the man being buried that day. He refused to take any responsible for the late arrival and kept making excuse after excuse and never once apologized or offered to try to make it right. All he said was that 'they had received it late and thats the reason it wasn't on time'. Not even after I told him that I had ordered it and paid for it the day before, were any apologies made. He was very rude, curt, and unapologetic for the shops error. If you want grocery store flowers and no customer service, use this florist; I promise, you will regret it. I was so embarassed and dismayed by the poor excuse that I received as funeral flowers at a cost of almost 300.00, I would NEVER use this florist. For the amount of money I spent, it should have been there timely, and showy, and I should have at the very least been apologized to for this shops error. I can only conclude that this shop is greedy and needy and cares not that their customers are unhappy. Oh, and btw-when I gave them a bad review, they stated that 'they couldn't find my order, and would I look up the receipt received from Flowers by Eva and send them the receipt number'...I've already done all the work to order the flowers, I'm very sure if I stop payment on my banks end, you'll be able to find the order.

She also mentioned that what she had on hand was limited because she had tried to get some items for the mums from her regular girl she order through but thats she was out because of how late it was, but to not worry because she would be driving into Katy that evening to go to Hobby Lobby. She reassured us that she was going to make it look nice and would add the embellishment that we had requested including a braid and feathers to give us what we we were wanting. This is what i got for 78 dollars which needless to say i asked, "this is it." after seeing it. After voicing may concerns that it wasnt what she had sold us. She then decided to blame me that i knew with coming in so late this is all she was able to find and that hobby lobby was depleted of their decor for these mum. When i told her it wasnt acceptable and that if that was the case why didnt she call to inform us to make that informed decision. She then asked to keep it to add more on to it, at the end of it, mind yall she added more as it was worst. In everyones opinion that has seen it this have all agreed she riped me off. This not at 78 dollars mum, ill post the pics to allow everyone to make that call. I mentioned to her, that a forum on Facebook in Sealy they were cheaper and better designed her response to me was that she wasnt like those people cause they didnt have pay for the overhead of being in downtown sealy....... well honey welcome to business ownership, it can be a real B. While i still gave her a couple of chances to fix it i still ended up with a basic mum which everyone that has seen it agrees all the ribbons added didnt even tally to 25 dollars and slopppy thrown together so much so that nothing on it is even, there is 15 piece of ribbion hanging from this thing definitely not worth 78 dollars, wouldnt yall agree pics will speak volumes. Still i was willing to agree to half of what was paid for in full and the owner said she wasnt going to agree to that and that she was done dealing with me. I told her i will be calling my financial institution which i have, and also advised her i would be leaving an honest review after the actual product was received. So save yourself of crappy overly priced work from sealy flower station. FYI you get what you give and this will have it effects especially in a small town, and this will not be my only review!!
