I would not recommend the school for so many reasons, but I will provide three of the most concerning. 1- teachers do not console children when they are upset- only threats. The teacher said to my daughter when she cried, "do you want to go to the baby room?) 2- The cameras allow parents to watch their children during the day. One day I saw a child hit my daughter and she began to cry. No comfort was provided as she cried. The teacher was distracted and missed the incident. 3- on three occasions my daughter came home with a poop diaper. When I asked the director about it each time the explanation provided was that "she must have just went." At home I started to notice my daughter showing signs of trauma. She would cry at drop-off not wanting to go into the school. At home with her toy and dolls she started repeating what was said to her by her teacher, " putting herself in timeout and saying "stop crying or I'll put you in the baby room." I do not recommend the school. Once we switched our daughter to Goddard, she is back to her normal happy self.

I basically was paying for full time care but not receiving full time care. Every other week or 2-3 times a month the owner would give notice via text message of closures without 24 hours notice. Three times she closed with no prior notice at all, or no notification to me. I showed up with my infant to find out her daycare was closed twice. This created so much anxiety for me as a parent. I would not recommend "We're Just Kidz, for a full time provider due to these repeated issues. Also this provider does not offer backup care, nor is she willing to provide a back up plan if closed. I asked her to hire a floating assistant she refuses. More importantly she still wants the full rate even when closed. I was willing to continue to work with the owner to support a woman owned minority business but I grew tired of being treated unprofessionally and I felt she was taking advantage of me and other parents who subscribed to her daycare services.

I…read morecould detail my many minor frustrations with the lack of communication and what seems to be intentional deceit with moving students between classes without notifying parents, but I feel the two major incidents that caused us to leave will speak for themselves: In the last week and a half my daughter was first directly given a known allergen by a staff member, causing an ER visit and extremely stressful day for my whole family. To be clear, this was not an accidental exposure - she was handed a cup of milk despite having a well-documented allergy to milk. Yesterday, my daughter was sent home with dried feces caked on the back of her shirt from a BM that occurred at 10 AM. She was walking around all day with a significant amount of feces on her. Based on the fingerprints and smudges she was touching it frequently, so it is fair to assume that everything she touched and even the other children she interacted with were exposed to the potential bacteria and illnesses known to be in feces. When I called to address both issues their response essentially amounted to 'mistakes happen.' Obviously this was extremely upsetting given these two incidents so close together, which clearly indicates a larger issue. After a tense but professional phone call with the owner I was told my daughter was no longer allowed to attend, effective immediately. Luckily we were already making plans since we didn't feel she was safe there anyway, but I was still appalled that rather than bear responsibility they chose to dismiss it. I am truly fearful for every student in that center. I don't know what it is happening but there is a clear lack of appropriate management and it is putting kids' well being at risk.

Every day, she surprises us with how much she's learned: letters, words (English, Spanish, and sign language), colors, animals- and she genuinely enjoys it. Sometimes, I have to work to entice her to leave! As two working parents with often opposing schedules, the on site chef is a major convenience as it leaves one less thing for us to worry about. The staff is warm, patient, kind, fun, and engage the kids in a variety of activities to keep them learning and having fun. They readily chat with me about her day and answer any questions I may have. I get daily reports about what she's learning, eating, dsiaper changes and potty training, naps, and loads of fun pictures! She's not always an angel and they apply patience, thoughtful boundaries, and kindness in helping her learn the appropriate behaviors. I had to chime in and improve the rating as one person had a different experience eight years ago and gave one star, but we truly value this business and wanted to share our experience.

Through the ledger, we know exactly what and how much food our child eats, when and how many times diapers are changed, how long he plays outside. In addition, Connie's also shares photos of children activities through google drive monthly. These features really give us peace of mind and the ease to keep a good record of our child's growth. Sarah the director was so warm and friendly. The staff is excellent and participated in the show. The atmosphere is so cozy, it felt like I was in a family setting more than an commercial center. It was in a very clean Town home with plenty of toys and activities for the kids. The children were so happy and the staff was beyond awesome. I had such a good time performing for the kids. It was a small community of children which makes it like a family setting, so the staff could really give the kids the attention they need.If looking for a warm and safe place for your children I highly reccomend this center.
