Love my getting my dogs groomed with Pam! We have two dogs (one large and one small) and they have a blast with Pam. Pam arrives to our doorstep and we bring our dogs out. They know they're in for a treat and start wagging their tails like crazy! Pam takes the dogs into her mobile grooming van and they get washed in a nice tub with warm water. Basically our dogs are pampered more than us! She has organic shampoos as well. The dogs's nails and hair are trimmed per our requests, and we usually have Pam setup on a scheduled visit since our dogs have hair that grows fairly quickly. Pam is super nice and accommodating and follows requests carefully. I feel very comfortable allowing our fur babies to be pampered and taken care of by Pam. read more

These ladies (Kim and Pam) did a really great job grooming my thick-coated golden. She's never looked or felt so good. Their price was $75, for about 1.5 hours of dedicated work, including bath, toenails and all the customary inclusions. I think this is very reasonable, especially considering that they did the driving! Looking at the first review from Rachel W., I'd like to observe that mobile grooming is vulnerable to traffic, recalcitrant pets, etc. Yes, there was a delay, but this usually the case with ANYONE you make an appointment with at your home -- plumbers, cable, electrician, etc. Kim and Pam were pleasant and professional; I will definitely call them again and recommend them to anyone. These ladies definitely know their business. Maybe appointments should be in a one- or two-hour window (again, as with cable, Terminix, etc.). I've dropped my dog off at grooming places in the morning and been told she wouldn't be ready for pickup till closing time. With a mobile groomer, it takes less time, and if there is a delay, at least the client and pet can wait comfortably at home. In other words, quality of service was as good as it gets, and a good deal - five stars! The delay was a small drawback, but it was definitely worth it, and I look forward to our next appointment. I think clients making an appointment later in the day (subject to the circumstances of earlier clients) should be prepared to be flexible, within a one- or two-hour window. I just made an appointment with these ladies, I think they're very keen on business and love dogs. Houston's traffic definitely is much worse than before, although I am still new to this city but I hear this from people all the time. That's why we chose Mobile dog grooming, and we need them. If there is nothing to pick on the service, I think it's very cruel to bring people's reputation down by saying they're late! I'm sure when you're sending your dog to grooming, you're not always on time too. read more

Earlier this year, I had an unfortunate incident involving my dog at a grooming facility. I was looking for a mobile pet groomer when one of my co-workers suggested Haute Dawgs. She had used them previously, was very happy with them, but they had told her they were relocating to The Woodlands and would not be able to groom her dog anymore. She lives outside of Houston; I live outside of The Woodlands. On May 6th, I contacted Haute Dawgs to make an appointment. I was asked for a picture of my dog and my address along with my zip code. After a few initial texts were exchanged, we made the first appointment for Friday, May 23rd. I offered directions to my home which they declined, instead choosing to rely on a GPS. The morning of May 23rd, about two hours before they were due to arrive at my home, I received a call canceling the appointment. I rescheduled the second appointment for the following Saturday, May 31st. On May 31st, I again received a call canceling the appointment. The third appointment was rescheduled for June 4th. While I was a little bothered by the repeat cancellations, I was also looking for someone special to take care of my dog so I was willing to try Haute Dawgs out. On June 4th, around 1:20 in the afternoon, I received a text letting me know they were on their way to my home. About ten minutes later, I received a call from a very frantic woman who told me they were lost after following the GPS. I figured out where she was and had her turn around giving her directions to my house from her current location. I got off the phone with her, called my husband and said they should be there in about 5 minutes as they were literally 3 miles from my home at this point. About 10 minutes later, I received another call from the same woman who sounded like she was in full panic mode and on the verge of tears. Apparently she made a wrong turn instead of following the directions that I gave to her. I tried to get her back to my street but she was screaming very loudly, speaking over me and saying she didn't care where my road was. She then told me that they had come 40 miles out of their way to get to my house, do not work in The Woodlands and are based in Houston. I informed her that she had almost a month to figure out where I lived and could have declined from the beginning. At this point, I told her to turn her truck around and go home. I was stunned and could not believe the tone she was taking with me over the phone. The person who originally gave me the referral is a co-worker and was a little surprised also since they told her they were relocating to The Woodlands and were not working in the Houston area, which was completely opposite of what she had just got done telling me and contrary to what is on the web. We also now include north of Houston such as The Woodlands, and Spring. We cover a large percent of the city on different days. Now our territory covers mostly inner beltway areas depending upon the days of the week. We are open on Saturdays and offer late afternoon and early evening appointments. Needless to say, I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

If you have a pet & take it to the groomer. DON'T! Use Haute Dawgs Mobile Pet Spa. These people go above & beyond. I am a new client & asked if they could squeeze my dog in today (Saturday) as I wouldn't have any free time for the next 2 weeks. They said they could. They actually completed there full schedule & got to my house @ 8:30pm & are grooming my "buddy" as I type this. They could have easily told me that they couldn't make it, but they made it happen. Great service, great people, great price (only $5 more than the groomer I was using & I had to take my "buddy" to them & wait for half a day to pick him up. read more

Pam and her qualified staff came to my residence and groomed my dog to perfection. She has never looked better. She was returned to me clean, groomed , toenails cut and filed and still wagging her tail. I cannot sing their praises enough. By coming to my home, I was able to continue my day without the added burden of having to "go to the groomer". A most excellent experience for the owner and the dog. Appointments can be made as a recurring standing appointment or you can call and make an appointment a week in advance. It is up to you.
