Everyone at heavenly pet resort is very friendly, and they all seem to love animals. The lady that I spoke to was able to acquaint with my slow to warm up sometimes grumpy dog fairly quickly. The facility is clean and organized. I'd like to add that they have multiple doors throughout the facility which prevent accidental escapes which is wonderful. They don't however provide photos/videos of pets throughout the stay, but they do post pictures on their instagram. Would definitely recommend them. read more

Super friendly people who treat your pup like one of their own. A very nice gentleman had given us a tour of facilities and we were really impressed. Our dog must've really liked the food there because she pooped 5 times the first day back with us. LOL! I only wish they weren't closed the day before we wanted to drop off. Had to leave our doggie there a day early and pay for an extra day. They were also closed on Sunday and we were returning Saturday. We would've had to pay for another day, but luckily my friend was able to get our doggie on Saturday for us. To be fair it was Xmas week, so no stars off for the holiday schedule. Our Nala past away recently at Heavenly Pet Resort. Not a lot of places take senior dogs, and I was especially thankful that they are willing to watch her while we were away. She unfortunately past away while we were out of the country, and I think our baby girl wanted to leave us that way as she knew we had the hardest time deciding to put her down. Jessica called my emergency contact as she wasn't able to reach us, and helped us coordinate the delivery to a hospital so that someone can pick her up. We are extremely grateful that they were able to help us with the process as we look for someone to pick her up to offer cremation services. We will miss you all dearly. Had a great experience here! I was recommended this place by a friend who always brings her three pups here whenever she's traveling. As a first time pet parent, I was worried my pup would get separation anxiety or come back with bad habits but she came back relaxed and happy! The host at the front desk is so nice and my pup took to her instantly, which is rare because my pup is insanely scared of strangers. The price is very reasonable - $40 per night for a private room. Most other places that I've asked only allows community style and charges $75+ They also post play time on their IG too - loved having that visibility! read more

When the entire family leaves town, we board our fur babies (dogs) here! When I first inquired about this place, the staff was extremely friendly over the phone and asked that we check out their facilities during their normal visiting hours to see how their place is run and assess if the environment fits our pups. The facility offers many different types of spaces, including private units, shared units, and even a community of other boarding pups of similar sizes (they're split between large and small). There are outdoor as well as indoor units. Bonus: you can also board your feline fur babies here as well. One thing I have learned is to ALWAYS ask for your pets to be bathed and groomed prior to pick up- do not skip this added service and thank me later! read more

I was recommended to try this place out by my stepmom after my normal pet sitter was unavailable. I am so glad she told me about this place. I now have two places that I trust with my fur baby. I called last minute to see if they could accommodate me and they were able to. The place is located in the cut of Temple City. When we went in we had to complete paperwork and provide immunization records. The process was quick and fairly easy. To your left behind the glass window is where the little pups are. I was able to see how her initial interaction was with the other dogs. The staff is great; so great that when I went to pick her up, she didn't pay me any mind. I tapped on the glass and she looked at me and politely turned her head in the other direction. Lol that just showed me that my fur baby was cared for, and that she had a good time. The only thing that I like that my regular pet sitter does that Heavenly Pets doesn't do ( and maybe they do, I just forgot to inquire) is send pictures/videos throughout my fur baby's stay. All in all, excellent place, clean and knowledgeable staff. I would hands down recommend Heavenly Pets. read more

Great boarding place for cats and dogs. They have a separate car area for felines and also a smaller dog area. Staff are very friendly there especially their manager. Our cat Mochi gives it five paws! Only they might be a little short handed as sometimes it's difficult to get hold of staff or to make a booking. But overall a great place for pet boarding with their outdoor space for the furry friends to stretch and get some sun as well. read more

Five super stars for this dog boarding facility!!! This is not the first time my dog went to any boarding facilities for days. But it's the first time that he actually came home clean, smelt good and flea free!!! Just picked up my dog yesterday for 4 days stay (community style), my baby looks happy, healthy and clean. The nice lady at the front is so kind and passionate about the dogs. And she told me everything about how my baby dog behaves in the last couple of days. I can actually see him resting comfortably in their bed while I peek through the window. So glad to find a place the my dog really enjoy and like!! Pricing is reasonable. I dropped off my dog over Memorial Day weekend and just picked him up today. Upon seeing him, I noticed a large wet spot on his hind leg so I asked them if it was pee. The woman at the counter reassured me that it was just water because he was "sitting in the yard" when she went to get him. On the drive home, my entire car reeked of pee and it broke my heart. I wiped him down when we got home and confirmed that it was pee. All four paws and hind leg was covered in crystallized piss. He never cries after coming home from boarding (he's been boarding here and there since he was a puppy) but he cried this time when he got home. I'm extremely heartbroken and disappointed. I can't believe they allowed him to sit in his own pee for so long and didn't bother to clean him or care for him. I can't imagine the state of things when I'm not there because there are no photo or video updates. This isn't the first time I had problems with this pet resort. The last time I dropped him off here, everything looked okay until a few days after we brought him home. I noticed large cracks under his fur all along his spine. He was bleeding and scabbing all along his spine. I brought him to the vet that week and they said that it's a scraping wound. We chalked it up to him scraping his back by going under our bed, but those wounds NEVER appeared again despite him continuing to go under our bed. In retrospect, I believe it was a scraping wound from trying to escape a much narrower space. It must have happened at the pet resort. This place needs to be investigated for animal neglect, and I'm not saying that lightly. UPDATE: It's his first night back and I noticed he was licking his legs constantly. Upon further inspection, I see that he has developed hygromas on both legs due to the repetitive trauma of sleeping on hard surfaces (perhaps pavement or a crate) at the pet "resort." Another vet bill coming. read more

This place really thinks I don't know the difference between pee smell and and chicken broth smell. What a way to wash their hands of the whole situation with an excuse. I picked him up during my work hours in a rush because otherwise I'd get charged for another half a day. So it's my fault I didn't bring it up when I picked him up? We called as soon as I got home and the girl Silvia at the front desk didnt even know what to say or how to explain why his stuff was clean but he wasn't. They don't care, they already received payment. They receive payment before they even bring him out. They're right about one thing. My dog is a VERY clean dog which is why it is absolutely unacceptable that I received him in the condition that I did. Now you all know. If you don't bring it up during pick up, they'll use that in a response to your review and not take responsibility. Good to know. I left my dog here for a week due to our wedding outside of the country and had the worst experience. When I picked him up he was covered in pee on his legs, belly and even on his face and smelled extremely bad (see pictures). Not only that, but we washed his bed and blanket before taking him and when they were returned to us, they smelled as clean as how we left them. It doesn't make sense how my dog could leave this place smelling as bad as he did, covered in pee, yet his bed, blanket, and toys were all clean. He had one brand new toy that was completely untouched. To be honest, it seems like this place just throws them into a room, doesn't care about what you give them except for maybe the food and allows them to be in their own filth. My dog was dirty and smelled, my car is now dirty and smells like pee, but all his belongings are clean and smell fine. You add it up. read more

I gave a one star for the friendly staff but everything else about this place is bad news. It was my first time leaving my ragdoll in a boarding facility and I was adamant about finding a "home-like" experience instead of a cage experience. When I learned about the individual VIP rooms they offered for cats, I was excited and pleased. It looked like a good enough space for my 18 pound cat and the room was equipped with AC. When I picked him up 12 days later, everything seemed fine until I got home and inspected him closer. He had a bald spot along his neck and a scratch mark on his bald spot. Clearly, he scratched himself and I realized a few days later that he had fleas!!!! It just took some time for the fleas to hatch but they were there biting my cat and me. I immediately took him to the groomers to have him bathed and treated for fleas. He's on his second dose now and the fleas have no plans of going away. I started getting attacked by these fleas and now we are both suffering. I have deep cleaned, vacuumed, used plant-based sprays around the house and got him treated professionally but these fleas do not die so easily. Poor thing has been miserable and that was nearly two months ago. My beautiful indoor ragdoll has never been exposed to fleas in his entire life until now and 100% he got it from this "resort." This place is more like a heavenly flea resort. Do NoT leave your pet in this facility; your fur baby will most likely be exposed to fleas. Thanks Heavenly Pet Resort for the flea infestation. I have already spent hundreds of dollars trying to fix the mess that you left behind for me and my cat. read more

I wanted to board my dog here for several weeks. I called ahead of time and spoke to Sylvia because I wanted to test the place out first by having my dog stay there for one day for daycare. Sylvia told me to bring all the vaccination records, and come the next day with the dog for the daycare. So I went to my veterinarians office and gathered all the vaccination records. When I got there the next day, Sylvia wasn't there, and another lady, who said she was the "manager", told me that they don't do daycare there, they don't have room for my dog, and she has no idea why Sylvia would have told me that. Do these two different employees here live in two alternative universes? Heavenly Pet Resort was not so "heavenly." Maybe they are rolling in cash and they don't need the money. I guess I will take my business elsewhere. PS the place smelled really bad and run down when I got there. I don't think it's a good place to leave my dog anyways. read more

Wish I could say this place was heavenly but my pets came back in bad condition. My little dog had poop all over her back and impacted and her paws were full of urine. I don't think they take proper care of the dogs. My two dogs are potty trained and rarely have accidents and they were in the private suite. I have a feeling all they do is feed the dogs and don't let them out for a sufficient amount of time and don't interact with each pet staying there. They simply aren't staffed enough to take proper care of each pet. read more

I took my fur baby Lucy mae here recently, for the very first time. We were having some work done in our house she needed a place to stay for 3 days. We checked her in on a Wednesday morning and she was to be picked up Friday morning by 11am. Well things happened and we asked if they had room to keep her until Sunday. They said yes. Thank goodness! Lucy is a people dog. Not a dog dog. If that makes sense. Lol She's a big baby yet protective of me. I had no idea how she would be at the resort. She's never been away from home before. I was worried for sure. When I spoke to the gal on Friday, she said Lucy was doing great. Left my cat Minnie here for 11 days while I was on vacation. She is an elderly cat and we were a bit worried leaving her given her medical issues and age. She had her own room, and they made sure she was in a room with lower shelves for her to jump on (she can't jump too high anymore.) She did great however. The staff made sure she had her medicine and food. I think she actually gained a bit of weight while she was there, which was a nice surprise! read more

I've been dropping my Bobo here for quite some time. I really like the service. If you're a first timer, make sure to ask them to give you a tour. They have different rooms with different temperatures for the same price. It's $32 a day (used to be $30) and additional fee if you bring your own food, or any special requests. They also offer Yappy Hours where they give your sweetie pie special treats treats for $2 to $6-- not entirely sure how this works yet. They also take your dog out to the playground every three hours and give your dog a clean bed every day. I've been to other places and I decided on this spot because if you are unable to pick your baby up on time on Sunday (latest around 2pm), you can pay for an additional day and they'll give your dog a bath absolutely free. Best to get the extra day for the free bath because it's nice to have your baby back smelling nice and fresh. Since I've been taking Bobo here for quite some time, I'm able to pay for 2 days and a bath on Monday for $27. Now go and pamper your baby! read more

I'm totally guilty of treating my rescue pup Daisy like a child. She was abused so she's SUPER timid (and can get scared-aggressive when pushed), so I was very hesitant of the idea of leaving her with strangers. However, the staff at HPTC are SO patient with Daisy (and me, lol!) and give her the initial space and extra love she needs. I love that I can drop her off saying "y'all know how to read her - just give her what she needs" and they reassure me that that's 100% true.
