The shop is a hidden gem with a warm and inviting atmosphere. While Ewe and I is mainly a yarn store, they also have supplies for spinning, weaving, and felting, as well as craft classes. One side of the shop is Shonda's Food Cafe with hand pies, coffee, and baked goods. There are tables where you can sit and eat, but they were all taken when I was there on a Saturday in the late morning. They offer gorgeous yarn, such as the Alp Natural in the photos. The staff is kind and helpful, cheerfully winding my yarn without complaint and talking about possible patterns I could use with the yarn. I wish I lived near this shop so I could visit often.

I tried on about two dozen pieces and came home with an unconstructed jacket for work, a gorgeous velvet top, an elegant blouse, super cute flared jeans. and an extremely flattering split-hem sweatshirt. My daughter found a couple great shirt jackets and a flattering pair of jeans with her very-hard-to-find 36 inch inseam. We were thrilled! Prices were really reasonable given the quality. These are the nicest folks to deal with and we've built our own house - a lot of which came from Castle Rock Building supply. The quality of the lumber compared to the big box stores is far superior, and usually at a better price. We've ordered custom milled maple for the window trim and countertops, custom windows, endless supplies of 2X lumber, plywood, flooring, Trex & cedar decking, fence posts etc. and always received the order on time and with a smile. If we aren't able to drive in and pick up the order, they are happy to bring it to us. GREAT SERVICE. We always shop here first before going anywhere else. Highly recommended!!

I just left the Castle Rock building supply store hoping they'd have some Topsoil because Four Corners was out. The lady laughed at me and said oh no we don't carry garden stuff. It just rubbed me the wrong way how she said it and snickered. On my way in, I looked at some Garden tools they had out front. I ask her about those and she said all those are for concrete. I thought to myself okay whatever, they look like garden tools to me. I proceeded to look around a little bit to see if there was anything I needed since I am repairing a fence. I could have possibly bought something and I did want to go look at their Lumber so I decided to give her one more chance. I walk towards the front door and waited for her to say thank you for coming in or sorry we couldn't help or have a nice day. Nope nothing. So needless to say they won't be getting my business. It's unfortunate and I'm assuming that they're struggling just like any other business is with the pandemic. So all I have to say is GOOD LUCK lady and I won't be back. I am a handy person and have lots of projects but I would rather go to Home Depot or Lowes. I could go on and tell you how she spoke to the next customer but I need to get back to my fence. I will say it wasn't professional either.
