I purchased several services and each proved to be a smart choice! The 90-minute facial and 120 minute massage were exactly what I needed and everything I hoped for. Alice the massage therapist did the hot towels at the end which is a nice touch -- many don't offer that. Lindsey did the facial and she was gentle with my face but also took care of some blemishes others have ignored. She also recommended and provided a sample of face cleanser which was literally refreshing. A lot of times I wash my face and feel like I'm still not done. But this product was the best. This was a gift for Christmas, so it was my first visit. The masseuse who took care of me although a bit too talkative, was wonderful. However the atmosphere throughout my experience was way to sterile. I have had many massages, mostly west coast, but there was always an air of healing and restoration in all aspects of the experience. From when you walked in, to the care and attention to detail of making it feel like you've entered a place of healing. At Heavenly Spa there is a fancy corporate style check in deck. Stark hallways, and even starker treatment rooms. That alone was a shock and a turn off. It felt like a business, not a place of peace, tranquility, and restoration. There are other places in Boone that I go to, that give me those things. I will continue to go there. read more

My experience with Heavenly Touch Massage was a mixed bag, but overall positive. As for the facility itself, I found it clean, stylish, and conveniently located. Likewise, the staff were courteous and accommodating. My massage therapist was friendly and skilled, but when I received my massage, there was something of a communication problem, and I was not satisfied, having had a crucial part of the massage neglected despite being assured it would be done. A generally basic facility...however the 4 star rating is for the quality of the Massage Therapists. The therapists were detailed in their level of skill and showed genuine concern for us as their clients. I prefer a deeper tissue and pressure point therapy while my husband prefers a relaxation massage they were able to accomodate us both. The facility itself lacks creativity and ambiance and the entrance area is very noisy...however I do give credit to the therapists for their efforts to make it a pleasant experience, and it was. read more

We showed up for our 60 minute couples massage 15 minutes early and was taken back 10 minutes after our scheduled time. The massage started 15 minutes after our scheduled time and ended after 45 minutes. We didn't get the full hour we paid for. My husband & I went to Heavenly Massage while in the area visiting family for Thanksgiving. While I had been massaged in the past from places in our area (Northern Virginia), my husband had never had one and I had never had a Prenatal one! So we arranged for a 90 minutes couple's massage. The whole experience was very inviting and the ambiance was quite relaxing. Emily did my prenatal & Renee did my husband's. They both did a fantastic job. If we lived in the area, I would most definitely go again & again to this place. Although my husband wasn't sure what to expect and was a bit nervous about it, afterwards, he was completely relaxed and realized he needed to do this more often. They have nice tanning beds but don't let this place rip you off. I was told that I could not tan when I had paid on the 11th for an entire month. Even though I was charged for an entire month, they would not let me tan the rest of those days because my card did not go through for the next month which shouldn't really be accounted for until the first month I paid for was over. I will be switching elsewhere. I was not informed that by signing up in the middle of a month that I was paying full price for less days. read more

I took advantage of their new client special and got a 60-minute massage for $39.95. It was a fine massage, relaxing and free aromatherapy. Though I asked for someone to do deep tissue, my therapist admitted she couldn't go too deep. She also didn't maintain pressure. I think she would be a good therapist for someone who likes more gentle massage. The facility was clean and quite welcoming for a store in a strip mall. Everyone was nice. One thing to note is that a 60-minute massage is actually 50 minutes as they count the time that you talk to the therapists and get into the table, as well as the time it takes you to get out. They would likely benefit from letting people know that at the outset, especially if they're paying full price and are likely to keep a close eye on the time. It's also worth noting that the "heavenly" doesn't just refer to the idea that you'll be floating on clouds, it's also their business culture. The walls have inspirational bible quotes and much of the waiting room reading is religious-based. Overall, it was an okay experience. I don't think I'll go back at full price. read more

Don't believe google's high reviews! I scheduled a massage and when I got there I was ignored by the receptionist for 10 minutes while she was ranting on the phone. My massage was shorted by 15 minutes, apparently the 1-hour time started at the time the therapist met me in the front to take me back. I requested special focus on my upper back with a deep tissue in the specified area. I did not receive the deep tissue, which I requested, and left with numerous knots remaining. I was not very satisfied with this place and will NOT be back. read more

My hubs and I came to the area for a kids-free weekend. I wanted to support a smaller local business vs a resort, so I called several days before our trip and made a reservation over the phone. Used my CC to secure the slot. Day of: oh, they lost my res but had my contact info and CC number, exp date, security code, etc... They were booked the rest of the day and made no attempt to rectify the situation. Advised me to call a manager the following week if I wanted to. No thanks. I must confess I've never heard of heavenly touch spa and tanning until finding this establishment driving through searching for another business. I love trying new places and since I had spare time I thought I would give HTS&T a try. The sign for heavenly touch spa and tanning upon arrival displays "walk ins welcome". When I entered HTS&T there were close to ten ladies standing an appeared waiting at the front desk for clients. When I greeted the ladies, I told them I was a walk in, and wanted to check on availability for the day. Now this was on Monday, December 28th on a rainy day in Boone, NC. One of the ladies said almost immediately without any apparent checking whatsoever that there was no availability for the day. Hmmmmmm. Close to ten people seemingly standing around aimlessly no openings for the day, not even a courtesy look to see when and if there would be any availability within the day, hour etc...Feeling a little suspicious that my business was not welcomed-- I had my wife-- a native of Boone to call about openings no more than ten minutes after leaving HTS&T myself and viola--- openings galore. Now-- I'm not screaming discrimination, however it does make me wonder if I should have called first or at best have my wife schedule the appointment for me. So people beware-- call first--- if they see You, and don't like what they see--- it seems to go from walk ins welcome-- to Pick in choose who we want to serve. I hope this is not the case. I will try this place again anonymously to see what happens-- however, at the moment If anyone were to ask me about HTS&T, I would not recommend --based on the lack of effort in trying to find some type of opening for the day, week etc. read more
