The man who helped us said he would ask the owner to give us a discount for the damaged tree. The $5 "discount" made the price $55 plus tax so $60 anyway. What greedy jerks. Beautiful farm, we didn't know what to get, we were wondering around until we saw a nice boy working there, like a 12 or 14 years old, we asked him if he knew a tree that smell nice all the time and he told us the name of the tree and direct us to the right direction and even better we got to cut it ourselves, for us this is new and excited since we had our little boy with us, he had a blast with daddy cutting down the tree, price was fair, we paid fir a 6 to 7 inches tall $60.00 plus $28.00 for the base. This property used to be part of a back yard and Sean used to rake the leaves from two, large pin oaks. Now the land has been made into the perfect place to look/buy a tree. The owners put 4" pipe into the ground at regular intervals. The fresh trees are put into individual pipe stands and the pipe for each tree is filled with water, nightly. Their trees are fresh and well trimmed so they look great. We were there about five minutes before we found a great tree. And very competitive prices. We drove about twenty miles to get to Mooresville but it was worth it.

We had a landscaper purchase trees from this nursery to plant in our yard, specifically, Leyland…read morecypress. They were planted and watered as the grower instructed but all but one died. Trees purchased at the same time from another nursery are thriving. The grower refuses to stand by his product and has offered smaller trees with fees for digging them up. Please do not be fooled that this is a reputable nursery. They are probably fine for purchasing a cut Christmas tree but I definitely would not recommend them for any landscaping projects.

The same size, style and quality of tree at the big box store would have been almost double what we paid for it.
