It's freshly popped and so delicious! We also go to visit the petting area and feed some of the goats, sheep, cows and rabbits. Our toddlers had a blast! Good family fun for the fall season. && I got a funnel cake before we left (topping choices powder sugar, Carmel, chocolate, and strawberry syrup). The wind made it colder on the pumpkin side of the farm and unfortunately they didn't have warm apple cider. I expected them to have something warm that kids could drink (non coffee). Tips: Bring a blanket for inside the wagon. Don't wear your nice shoes. Bring a tripod or stand for photos.

Truly I can't say enough great things about our trip to Snowflake Village last weekend! We arrived…read moreabout 5 mins before they opened and waited over in an apartment parking lot until they opened their entrance. They opened right on time and we went in to park. Shockingly there was only one other car there on a Saturday in December, which we were very happy about. We anticipated a big crowd. We parked and walked up to the front, they have a lot of signage all around that I think is more so for their busy times. I can imagine it gets hectic and this is how they keep folks organized and sane lol. Once you walk in there's decorations everywhere and so many photo opps. I kept saying to my boyfriend how cute it has to be at night with all the lights. They have all kinds of different size trees with different "bushyness". Each tree is tagged and labeled, they tell you once you find your dream tree simply remove the bottom half of the tag and bring it to a staff member. They then take your tree, give it a fresh cut and wrap it for travel. Then you jump in your car, follow a fun trivia trail right to where you pick it up. Again, this is more for busy days but it was fun lol. Then they load the tree into the car for you. We had a pick up truck so there was no need to tie it down but the car before them needed their tree tied down and the staff member helped him do that. Really great service!!! We purchased a gorgeous 8ft tree, the tree holder and a green tray to go under it all to catch water and pines. The pricing was very affordable, which also surprised me. I also loved that they have a prayer chapel where you can write a prayer and hang it on a tree. Very touching! The best part is your purchase helps to fund 30 different local charities and some goes to help Western NC too!!! This place was really special and such a fun time! My inner child was overjoyed and so fulfilled! I always have a fake tree at Christmas and this year something told me to go for the real thing. I'm so happy we chose Snowflake Village!! We had the best experience ever and will go back to them again and again. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the market for a real Christmas tree this year or in the future. Trees purchased at the same time from another nursery are thriving. The grower refuses to stand by his product and has offered smaller trees with fees for digging them up. Please do not be fooled that this is a reputable nursery. They are probably fine for purchasing a cut Christmas tree but I definitely would not recommend them for any landscaping projects.

It wasn't much to look at, probably just a seasonal location for them. One of the guys helping me out said they shipped the trees and wreaths and such from the mountains. The staff: AWESOME! Very helpful... They wrap your tree and tie it on your roof and everything. The selection: We went about a week before Christmas, so I would assume they had sold a lot already. The trees were beautiful and awesomely prices. They had this 12 or so foot tree for $154. Going to close to Christmas, I think they were just trying to get rid of their inventory so I got an awesome deal on this huge wreath. The owners wife made it... It's gorgeous!! She even hand made the bow which really complimented the wreath very well. Being in Charlotte, this was a bit of a drive on some weird back road that I've never been on. I'd go back again, although I'm still a little upset I didn't get any apple cider. I did however pick up some local honey and some homemade winter pickles. Yum!

My Grandmother had then as did my Mother and others in the family. Saw them back in late summer at Mike's Growers Outlet in Denver but they were very small. They told me to come back later in the year which I did on Sunday but they had sold out of the larger one and only very small ones left. They suggested Denver Produce but they did not have any of any size but the did say that Ingle's Supermarket had had them but were sold out of the hanging basket size. Tries a different Ingles on the way home in Westport but they did not have any as well. Backing up a day, on Saturday, Brawley Nursery had advertised on Facebook with accompanying photos of some beautiful plants. The back tire on my Audi had picked up a nail so had a late start and did not get there till 1:20 and they close at 1:00 pm on Saturday. They later posted on FaceBook that they still had plenty and they would be available when they opened on Monday at 8:30. 8:30 came and went and they did not open at least while I was there. It was just me and another employee and we were both locked out looking through over the gate. Went online to see if Pike had them but from the way the adv ready, you could order them and they would be ready in 2 to 3 days. Another words, it sounds like they are representing a 3-rd. party. Placed an order yesterday afternoon and got an email in less that an hour that my order was ready. In other words, they had them in stock and I could come by and pick it up because they were open till 6PM. Told them we would pick it up on Tuesday if that was OK so over lunch today, drove over and picked up a beautiful bright red Christmas Cactus. It currently sitting on a coffee table in my living room and I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought a Stay lit tree several years ago. Every year I mean every single year a whole section…read moregoes out. I'm always given a hard time when I bring it in even though the paperwork clearly states the lighting system is covered. These trees are not reliable or worth the $1000+ price. After this year I will rewire it myself properly. What a sad way to do business giving people such a hard time under warranty.
