I showed up today with my mom because I had a gift card and wanted to see if I could find a decent moisturizer here that didn't break the bank. Their prestige makeup is always very alluring, but a tad too expensive for me. Since it's the holidays, they were set up with their products that would make good gifts, front and center. I was buying something for myself, however, so I didn't really pay attention. The store is very well organized, though! Just as I started looking for the perfect moisturizer, one caught my eye almost instantly. I like water based, gel moisturizer, so the one from Neutrogena I saw was ticking all those boxes. I grabbed the box and went up to the cash registers. Though there was no one there at first (totally understandable, as the staff was out on the floor helping other customers), I didn't wait long. A store associate who was finished helping someone came up to the register and apologized for the wait, which was nice of her. We chatted about some things we ended up having in common and she was probably the nicest, most pleasant staff member I've ever met there. It was great that she didn't rush me through the checkout process like a lot of retail workers do this time of year (as a former retail grunt, I totally understand why). The photographer was great but he was short staffed that day and was very behind schedule. Luckily I was able to get in and out because I had simple photos but for largest groups it might be longer.
