I have gone back and forth on writing this review because I'm not into bashing people and this work took place nearly a year ago, but I feel compelled to do so. We were shocked to the point of nearly contacting the NC landscape architecture board to report this business. They are either incredibly incompetent or trying every possible way to cut corners. We hired them to landscape our front and back yards. At one point we saw on our Ring camera that they were standing pavers loosely on end, one next to another, like Stonehenge. When I questioned them about it, I was told a lot of people choose that (I've never seen it). They also added a bark island, as part of the landscape drawing that their own employee drew up. It was maybe a quarter to a third the size of the drawing. When I brought that up, they "fixed" it but ran the plants and bark into the drainage culvert. A 7-year-old knows that all would get washed away with the first storm. He kept asking for final payment the day he "completed" the job, but left so many things out. For example, the drawing had five crepe myrtle trees along the driveway. He didn't do that until I had to tell him he didn't plant those trees. One of many examples. We are now on our second landscaper, who is fixing Heffner's mess. My guess is their landscape expertise is limited to mowing and weeding. read more

Do not do what they say. Talk big talk want your money but they don't deliver the expected results. I definitely feel I got took. read more

Poor follow up. Poor management. Poor attention to detail. Not sure anyone there has any formal education in landscaping.

Began working with this company(Mr. Saunders) April 5th to get an estimate for some landscaping projects. The first meeting was great, however communication and logistics stalled out and snowballed from there. We requested a written estimate detailing the work and a break down of each individual project during the initial appointment. Mr. Saunders advised that it would be no problem and that was part of the process and would be provided after our next appointment with him and the estimator. Almost 2 weeks passed without any callbacks from Mr. Saunders to schedule an appointment with him and his estimator. A week later an appointment was scheduled for April 30th due to our diligence in contacting him back. My husband took off work to meet with them. However an hour or so before the appointment Mr. Saunders called to ask if he could just stop by (they were in the area) and survey the yard with his estimator. We obliged, however we were bothered about the lack of respect to our schedule when this whole time they could of came without us taking time off from work. He advised he would be in touch with an estimate after surveying the property and discussing things with the estimator. We contacted Mr. Saunders a week later, May 8th to verify if an estimate was ready as we had not heard back. My husband was given a brief overview and a verbal estimate. During this call we requested that the information be sent to us so we both could review the specific details and discuss our next steps. To this day Mr. Saunders has failed to supply us with a written estimate after numerous requests. We have utilized many landscaping companies in the past 10 years for projects on our properties in three different states and never had someone discuss things only via phone. We have always been provided an estimate via email or a printed out copy given in person or by mail. Quite frankly this has been a huge waste of time as it is now May 23rd and we still do not have anymore information than when we started a month and a half ago. Nor has Mr. Saunders responded to emails or followed up with us to apologize. It is sad that customer service is not a focal point of this company and we will be taking our business elsewhere in hope that company will value our time and provide better services! read more
