Additionally, the individuals assigned to my case changed several times, which contributed to confusion and lack of continuity. At one point, I was informed that my settlement would be approximately $7,800. However, after continued delays and further processing, I was later advised that the final settlement amount would be reduced to $1,500 due to medical provider billing issues. This was unexpected and not consistent with what had previously been communicated. Calls and messages were often ignored, updates were difficult to get, and there was very little transparency during important parts of the case. It genuinely felt like the focus was more on money than actually helping or supporting the client. Watching someone deal with medical treatment, stress from the accident, and uncertainty, while also being ghosted by the people supposed to represent them was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. And why did your top employment attorney suddenly leave? I started a case in 2020 with this law firm. Granted covid happened but when it was time to pick back up again my case seemed unimportant. And worse I'm still dealing with the consequences. The law firm was supposed to report the deposit of the settlement my child (minor) received. I received a letter from probate giving me a court date to explain why I didn't report the deposit for the minors settlement. After speaking to one of the clerks in the office I'm being told I will in fact have to appear for the court date and that a declaration was provided to the court to show the minors settlement was deposited. Obviously it wasn't if now I'm being summoned to probate court. 3 years later, what should have been a simple case and I'm still dealing with it. This law firm is horrible. Beware!!! My friend and I have been dealing with an ongoing case since November 2021 and every month it's some BS!! They keep giving excuses that they waiting for receipts from insurances and medical offices and other gibberish. We got our exams done since the beginning of the year. On top of that they have changed our case managers multiple times without advising us. We are the ones calling, texting this unprofessional business to get updates. Thennnn!! We called yesterday and they tell us "Sorry they abandoned your case a month ago, but you have my word I will pick it up from where it was left off" what kind of BS is that??? The lawyer made sure that I went to all of my chiropractor sessions and that I got the medical attention needed. I also got MRI's as needed and also got back injections as needed.
