I would not recommend Heights Driving School. In December 2025, we purchased the school's upgraded package for $625 because it advertised benefits beyond the standard package, including two additional hours of in-car instruction, maneuverability training, and parent tips and tricks. The standard package at the time was $495, so we paid an additional $130 specifically for those extra services. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, we were never able to schedule those additional services. The online system would not allow scheduling, and the only alternative date offered was during the school day. The school issued my daughter's completion certificate without providing any of the additional services we paid for. When she struggled with maneuverability during her driving test, we had to seek instruction elsewhere from another driving school. After two short lessons from that other driving school, she successfully passed and received her license. When I requested a refund of the $130 premium we paid for services that were never delivered, Heights Driving School refused to issue a full refund. After several emails, although they acknowledged the extra services were not provided, they never explained why they believed they were entitled to keep money for services that were never delivered. My concern is less about the money and more about the principle. Consumers should not have to pay for services that are advertised, purchased, and never provided. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Heights Driving School. It is a pity because I had attend this driving school ages ago when I was a teen myself. read more

We paid like 500$ for me and only had 2 sessions was supposed to have one today but NO BODY told me I had to them somewhere I thought they were goin to pick me up like they did the last two times. They don't take me seriously because I'm young adult I've had to have my grandparents call them and threaten them to refund us OUR money. I mean what the actual fuck. If you're going to schedule someone on weekends TELL THEM YOU HAVE TO MET THEM SOMEWHERE. It's harder for me because I'm a mom. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of local driving instruction. My son took the classroom portion at Nordonia in November, but we were informed that in-car lessons are only available in Westlake. It is unreasonable to expect parents to commute over 40 minutes each way and wait for two hours because the company doesn't offer local pickups or drop-offs. A company shouldn't be partnered with a school district if they cannot provide the actual services in that area. read more

Very unprofessional outfit. I've always had reservations about this place. Always felt like they were interested in collecting money but not on serving their customers. Showed up for a 7:45 am lesson on a Saturday and the instructor never made it. Since it was Saturday we had no way to contact anybody. We waited about 40 minutes before giving up. My daughter was excited about her lesson and ended up disappointed. My older daughter had a poor experience with them back when she learned to drive. Fool me twice I suppose. I HIGHLY recommend checking out any alternative driving school and avoiding Heights Driving School whenever possible. read more

I am posting here as it's the only page I have found. My son attended all of his classes in Broadview Hts. only to be told there are hardly any drivers for him to complete his in-cars. We have gotten on to the website every day for over 2 weeks and continually the scheduling page says "no lessons available." I am hearing nothing but bad news. I will be calling my credit card company as well as the BBB. read more

STAY AWAY - HORRIBLE! They take your money and let the kids take classes, but GOOD LUCK GETTING your IN-CAR instructors and drive time! They are rude and tell you to go on-line to schedule the in-car - which I tried for months and NOTHING is ever available. My son took classes in APRIL and just had his first in car yesterday OCTOBER 9th, now they tell me that all of OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER are booked. Looking at other reviews, this is common practice for them. I understand one instructor had a stroke - obviously not his fault, but they need to hire additional instructors. They have no problem taking your money, you just can't get the lessons you paid for! STOP BOOKING KIDS AND TAKING THE MONEY IF YOU CAN'T ACCOMMODATE EVERYONE. read more

They have very limited in-car driving times available and like the others who have posted wait times can be up to 2 months for in-cars. Don't waste your money. Go to another school before you even consider Heights. read more

My daughter got her temps March 31,2018. She took all her classroom driving classes at the Bedford location within a few weeks which was fine. She couldn't get in with a driving instructor in her car until TODAY! AUGUST 16, 2018. They are completely aware of this & I've called and complained but no one cares. Do not waste your money going here and listen to your teen go crazy because they can't get in for driving instruction in the car that you already paid for MONTHS AGO!! And don't bother calling, they will leave you on hold, not answer, close before 5pm, send you to voice mail, not be open that day or even make a nasty comment like, "Why don't you take your daughter for a drive yourself?" I do take her driving, but, why did I pay you then for just 4 hours behind the wheel? They deserve a report to the better business bureau & get my money back. read more

I had a horrible experience with this driving school today. I paid for the lessons back in June for lessons to be taken in August. Somebody from the scheduling staff corrected the enrollment program selection for me, told me that it was same charge for another program and send me confirmation emails for my appointments. I called up today, a week before the lessons to confirm about the schedule and somebody told me to pay additional 60$ for extra lessons same amount of lessons that I was promised before. Absolute bunch of retards who have no coordination in whatever they are quoting to people and training their reception desk stuff. How wrong can you go on pricing and quoting?!
