I have been a long time customer of this store. I was looking to make a special dish for my family for dinner and I needed to know their price on jalapenos to compare it to the price at a different store I was already going to. If they had a better price I would have gone out of my way to pick them up from there. I called and asked about their price and the guy who answered literally said "Why do you want to know the price of those?" He sat on the phone and waited for me to tell him that I need to buy some and then he laughed so I told him that I will just buy them elsewhere. I live in the neighborhood and consider myself a loyal customer. I purchase all my meat products from Fresh Market because they're the lowest in town. I was there yesterday and spent a great amount of money. Well when I got home I opened my chicken and noticed a horrible smell, I located my receipt and went immediately back for a refund. Day two (next day) Sunday, i got ready to prepare my Sunday dinner, opened my smoked Turkey necks and they were spoiled as well. At this point I'm frustrated. I have to go back to the store again to return some more bad meat. This time I dont have my receipt, but it shouldn't have been a problem because their price sticker is on the product which was only $3.25 . SO I THOUGHT. The manager came out, I explained the situation and I had a replacement in hand. The manager immediately looked at the date and said "you didn't by this yesterday ", sir, yes I did, it was prepackaged in the cooler bin, actually I brought chicken back yesterday that was spoiled as well. He insisted that I did not purchase it the day before. So he asked for the receipt, which I didn't have. Then he says there's nothing he could do. I told him do you actually think I would come back to the store to SCAM you for $3.25 ? He wasn't budging. The disrespect that I was shown was unbelievable. I had tears in my eyes. He was loud, rude, and very unprofessional. Another man came out to see what was going on, and the manager directed him to the dat on the package, still insinuating as if I was lying. I had to find the cashier who rung my purchase up, and she remembered me when I came back to return the chicken, she told them both "yes, i remember her, that was purchased yesterday" in order for them to honor my exchange (which I shouldn't had brought anything else) I wrote all this to say. It was bad enough that I had to go back to the store twice to return BAD MEAT that they're selling. But to be treated in such a bad manner and for only $3.25 . read more

This place is wonderful. They have an amazing produce dept. as well as a HUGE meat counter. Their prices are outstanding and they have the best selection around. I doubt I will be heading to Jewel too often now that this store is open. If you are addicted to premade food items or really like things like lean cuisine this might not be for you as they don't stock much along those lines. They do have a bit of convenience food but this store focuses on really fresh ingredients. Though they do have a lot to offer in the way of fresh made salads and meat dishes. I could not be happier with this store and I highly recommend it! I got so much for my money! read more

Large Mexican supermarket with a nice Mexican bakery. Churros are great. Very good and meaty on weekends. Decent produce and meats. Lots of Mexican food products. Great prices. I haven't had a chance to eat at their adjoining restaurant. However, I hear their gorditas are amazing. I will definitely be returning. read more
