I thought they had raw seafood that you could buy for your own cooking since I wanted shrimp to put in my gumbo. That's not the case, as they cook the raw food that's on display. I was under the impression that they were also a seafood market. I ordered baked catfish that came with corn, potatoes, and broccoli. I got the cajun seasoning on it. Tasted great and the portions were nice. I must admit that I'm bigger on sauces than I am on rubs and dustings. Service was not bad. It did take time since there was a steady flow of customers. They cook to order. If ever I don't want to do my own seafood boil, I may return.

This gives me time to check prices and product. The employees kept the lines moving and in less than 15 minutes I was getting served. I needed crab legs, crab meat, Cajun chicken sausage. This place always has what I need and the service is excellent. I'll be back for some catfish and buffalo later.

I've been shopping there regularly for the past 6 months, and the fresh fish is excellent. I especially like their selections of salmon, white fish, shrimp & scallops. The ribs were really tender and there was a hint of spice in them, but not overbearing. We are unsure if they make their own barbecue sauce, but it was just as delicious. I spoke with one of the ladies there and she said on Saturdays, they will have more food aside from the pork belly, ribs, and chicken wings. All I can remember is brisket. I wish we were going back tomorrow just so we can try it. But, next time we are in Highland, we definitely will!
