I've used this business several times for odd jobs in my food truck. They were reliable then to screw a few things in and bolt down items. We hired them to move an oven and were told it would be no problem. First issue: Timeliness - they were hours late to a job and apparently "fired" the handy person who did our job but still charged us for an hour of his time + materials (89 dollars). While I believe in paying for goods and services, what about my employee who had hours of productivity shaved off on BOTH days they were several hours late to a job I was initially told was going to take less than an hour. Then upon inspection later, oh it might take more time because we have to saw it off. If you don't have the right equipment to do the job or ask the appropriate questions to your clients, I have a serious issue with how you're running your business. Also Katy - when I spoke to her via text because she wouldn't pick up my calls was very rude and unprofessional. I'll be reporting this business to all the regulatory boards and the better business bureau based off my experience. Communication: They called and texted often. Their preferred method of communication was texting which is what I prefer because I work during the day. They were running a little late but let me know. Tasks: There were several problems with my door and they were able to identify the problem quickly and fix it. They fixed the door lock and weatherstripping. The owner of this company,a seemingly crafty lady,accepted our offer to pay a certain amount to have our security cameras installed.However,she and her did a very poor job.She and her crew installed the camera upside down,right-side up and left-side right.When I alerted her of the error,she quickly sent me another invoice to pay her U$75,which began to make me think that she did that job poorly intentionally.When I challenged her on why she asked for additional fee for a job poorly done,she said we did not pay her enough money.Well,I did not force this woman to collect that money.She would have declined the offer.But having accepted,she came there and performed below par,and then tried to recover whatever she claimed was the charge deficit,by intentionally installing the cameras in opposite directions,at right angles and at any other direction,except upright. Katy and crew work very hard on my house for 6 months. Heights Hammer was originally hired to address some serious drainage issues under my pier and beam foundation. They did such a great job handling a very difficult project, I hired them to help with some much needed updates to my 98-year-old bungalow's bath and kitchen. Once again, the challenges were difficult. Nothing is "standard" in a super old house. There were some bumps along the way. But Katy always worked hard to smooth them out (literally and figuratively). She never left me high and dry. The end result was a transformed bathroom and kitchen which were so successful that I had an offer on my house the same day of my open house. Everything passed inspection - including the dreaded drainage issue! Katy isn't your conventional contractor. But all of those unconventional ingredients came together for a very successful outcome! read more

BEWARE! Please do not use this company! I needed my front door refinished. First of all they showed up four hours late. What they said would take about an hour took four hours. I did not like the way the door looked but Katie said that they would come back another day and would finish it. When I called her husband said he would only come back if I gave them more work. That was not the agreement. I had paid for the door. I had to pay someone to come and finish the door. Katie's husband was so rude and the text message were unbelievable.
