Not only did he not come back to finish the job and left my bathroom a wreck, this video shows what he called finished. The entire job needs to be redone. 2 people I called in to give me estimates to fix it said it was one of the worst they had seen. Seemed like a nice guy at first, but highly unprofessional and unethical. Stay away!!

6 months ago this company was hired to paint my entire first floor to include trim, doors and…read morewindows from wood to white. I paid monies up front then a percentage over time determined by Mike. There was only one final payment left due at completion of the job, the job was not completed.The doors and wood trim around entrances and windows were spray painted white leaving multiple drip and splattered patterns. Patched areas appeared uneven and the paint dried over patched areas I could see white dots. I contacted the paint company to assess the outcome on the finished surfaces to include the chipping and pealing paint on doors and trim perhaps being related to the paint , it was determined that the surfaces appeared incorrectly prepped prior to painting, due lack of primer and sanding. There were roughened areas where walls were patched, color bleed through around windows with numerous drips. Caulked areas on window trim was not smoothed prior to painting. I attempted to communicate throughout. Window hardware had paint coated internal crank mechanisms.Overspray on hand soap dispensers, floors, wooden stairway banister, carpet , tile, the new vanity .... When Mike informed me it was their last day he also indicated that they had only 3 hours to finish, there was another job , demanding he be paid the last payment in full regardless to completing the job. I did question that perhaps 3 hours would not be enough to finish the job, to include repairing imperfections and cleaning up. The job was not completed. I did experience what could be described as an unpleasant colorful array of English terminology.

This company fails to follow up. Our cabinets were installed less than six months ago. The handle…read moreis coming off of one. There is an obvious crack in another one. They were happy to take our money. We have reached out to Don on several occasions, he, nor any member of his crew have failed return to our home and make the necessary repairs, nor replacement. Based on the failure to follow up, we would not recommend this company.

Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. Overall, would highly recommend them for their excellent work, very fair pricing, and being such good nature people!

This in response to Robert asking to have the review removed. I will cite one example and then you can make up your own mind. A major beam in our sun room was screwed in incorrectly by Roberts people. The beam fell from the ceiling hitting another contractor. Thank god the contractor wasn't injured.

We were given recommendations to have Alex come out and give us a quote and explanation of what he would provide to complete the job to our satisfaction. With that said...Alex's quote was very cost effective and he went way above our expectations with not only painting (FYI, use Sherwin Williams Duration Paint), but caulking and more importantly replacing rotting boards as well as tying down all our gutters. It was those things that makes Advantage Painting & Drywall an A++++ company to work with. We had a popcorn plaster ceiling that we needed removed and our foundation repainted…read more It took a few days to nail down a time, but it was worth the wait. After getting outrageous quotes because everyone was scared of the plaster, Alex gave me a reasonable quote. I think it took him a little more time than he expected but he honored his original quote. He is a very nice and personable person who does really good work. I can see why some may have had an issue with scheduling because he is not a large company, but he was worth the wait!
