It had hoppy and citrus flavors and a finish that lingered on the palate. Next was the Harry Polanco Red Ale. This one had an intense copper color with caramel, hoppy and malty aromas. The flavor was full of malt and caramel with a strong bitterness and astringency that reminded me of an IPA. This ended up being my favorite of the three. We also tried the Foca Parlante Stout. It had a dark color with strong aromas of roasted coffee and caramel. The toasted malt and coffee flavors came through nicely. Unfortunately we were wrong. When we arrived here, we realized it was the same situation here as well. We ended up taking beer to-go at this point because we wanted to take it back to the US. There's a larger back patio filled with various succulents and bushes, ample seating with plenty of natural shade from trees along with tables with umbrellas. The beers I had were world class. Muntz is always a treat but even better from the source and Nectaron Express was an amazing expression of New Zealand hops paired with "devils lettuce" terpenes. Places like this are what elevate this industry and I'm glad that I was able to visit. Definitely a destination that anyone should seek out.
