I'm writing this review as the tour organizer to provide additional context regarding our recent group visit. The setting is beautiful; however, our group experience was extremely disappointing. We waited over two hours for a three-course meal, and several dishes arrived lukewarm and dry. Service throughout the experience was poor, and when we spoke with the manager, no effort was made to address or fix the issues. This was especially frustrating given it was a prepaid group reservation and a birthday celebration. While concerns were not raised further on-site to avoid disrupting the group, the experience accurately reflects what occurred. We hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to meaningful improvements. Edit to add: As the tour operator, we ultimately issued a refund to our clients after the venue declined to do so, in order to uphold the level of service our guests expect. read more

We loved our tour here. We booked a tour off a cruise ship that went to two wineries and this was one of them. Loved the ride through the vineyards in the cart pulled by the tractor- and what a treat to enjoy wine in the beautiful vineyards. Our visit also included a barrel tasting - which was delicious. Our host could not have been more charming and the snacks we were offered - skewers of cheese and fruit and meat - perfectly complimented the wines. read more

Absolutely loved this place! They have a play area for kids, bikes you can ride, a soccer section, and plenty of space for kids to run and play. The best part is that they have seating next to the play area where you can supervise and enjoy doing inks and food at the same time. The food... amazing! No complaints. The best experience for families! Don't get discouraged by the treacherous drive to this restaurant/ winery! I showed up with a group of 10 at opening time and it was the start of a perfect day, being welcomed by friendly staff. This is a beautiful place for lunch or even just a snack while wine tasting! Came here instead of another place that was closed for dinner on a Tuesday night. Seems very few places are open in the area till Thursday. Once you get past the long dirt road we were surprised to see such beautiful lush winery and restaurant. The service was great. Place is huge. Large play area in the back for kids and a bunch of bikes thinking it gets busy on the weekends. We ordered Shrimps dinner and the beef rib. So beautifully presented and both meals were tasty. Had to get a little wine tasting in while down in Mexico and decided to check out a new location; Corona Del Valle. A friendly staff and location that provides several options for those looking for an experience. We opted for the wine tasting experience; my mother-in-law wife and I tried a different selection of wines to maximize on the experience. I have to say the Gran Reserve selection of wine was by far the best, flavorable and smooth. Everything is outdoors but with plenty of shade. We were in Valle de Guadalupe for a few days with the kids and found this when researching kid-friendly options. This place was perfect! The grounds and landscaping are pretty, and there is plenty of space for kids to run around. There is even a playground as well as bikes for kids to borrow and ride (no charge). Most importantly, the wine was great. It was warm day, so we went with whites. I loved north the chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Both were well-balanced, crisp, wines. read more

This was our third winery of the day, and I think that the best was saved for last. It didn't have the nicest view. I don't even know that they served the best wine, although we really liked what we tried. Here's why I think CdV should be on your Valle itinerary: - No reservation needed (at least when we visited). - Laid-back atmosphere. I liked the mellow vibe as opposed to the corporate, touristy places. - Free sangria with Yelp check-in! - Good service. Our server was down-to-earth and friendly. - We got to choose which reds and which whites to try. - Much less crowded than the other wineries. Strange, because the choices in the Valle are really limited after 5:00. - Yeah, that's right: they are open late! All of the other wineries close too early. CdV closed at 9:00 on the Friday that we were there. If you have sprog, they have a little playground. They also have some animal pens (I'm not sure how I feel about this, but your kids may be interested). We first found out about CdV from the Baja Lifestyle & Travel Expo. Prior to making our own blend, they gave us an in-depth lesson while we tasted the variety they have (Tempranillo, petit Verdot, Nebbiolo, Malbec, Merlot, cab). It was really insightful to learn more about acidity, tannin, body, color intensity and fruit level. After making our own notes of how our palates perceived each wine, we deliberated which and how much we wanted to include in our blend. It was so much fun using the beakers, cylinders, and corker! The place is great for kids. They can ride bikes while you enjoy the wine. We like the Tempranillo. Food not too good and expensive do not order the pastas. All of them are bland. We tried them all. The shrimp plate bland. The chorizo with potatoes is terrible . They said au gratin potatoes it's just boiled potatoes with a tiny bit of cheese and a sprinkling of herbs. Chicken fingers are horrible and dry. Kids would not eat. Hamburger ok. Some grizzle . The shrimp ceviche was flavorful. The pork shank was really good. The food was delicious. We had the Camorones al ajillo. The sauce it was cooked in was so good. It came with Shrimp, rice and vegetables. The drink was a coffee liquor. That was perfect blend of an expresso & alcohol, named the carajillo. We did the tasting tour before dinner which was fun but the winery we went to before for the same price allowed us to keep the glass. Corona del Valle did not. We enjoyed wine outside then went inside for dinner. They do require you to order food as part of service which was fine because we were going to order dinner. We didn't go during the week so it was slow. We then went inside for dinner and we ordered our food and it did take very long for it to come out. We ordered soup and we figured it would come out first but they brought out all the food together. And when we ordered we asked for the red wine we had been drinking without realizing that he had offered us a different word wine and just said it was a 2016. Our food eventually came out and it was delicious and worth the wait. But then when we got the bill we realize that they charged for the reserve red wine. When we asked the waiter why he charged us extra he said he told us it was a 2016. We had to argue that we did at my mind paying but that it wasn't OK for him to charge us and give us a wine that we didn't ask for and he just stayed quiet which is why I gave a four stars. read more

If you have kids this is a very family friendly place with a play structure and bikes to ride. It can get a little noisy at times with kids screaming and running. They had live music while we were there which was so fun! To start we got the queso fundido and stuff avocado, which were really good. I got the filet with mushroom sauce which was good my friend got the octopus and also enjoyed it. Everyone else in my group wasn't a huge fan they got the borrego, pasta, and chicken and didn't like it. Overall the ambiance is great food is ify. Went here yesterday with a group of 13 and we had a wonderful time. Drive-we drove from Rosarito and it took about an hour. It's a bit of a windy drive and we returned at night which was a bit harder but made it to and from safely. But it's so worth the drive. Location-the winery is really beautiful and charming. It's not a huge restaurant but they make great use of the d se pace and make it feel really cozy. Due to COVID, you have to walk they a sanitizing pod which sprays you, get temperature checked and put on hand sanitizer. Everyone working wore their masks. Food- DELICIOUS! I had chicken breast stuffed with spinach in a rosemary sauce. It was tender and so flavorful. Our group had: cheeseboard, parrillada for 2, NY strip steak, burger (kids meal), carne con papas fritas (kids meal), soup and more. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Wonderful staff. They all speak perfect English and are knowledgeable about the winery. They offered us blankets because it was cold out and were all around wonderful. Unfortunately the wine fell very short. I understand that the majority of tourists cannot buy bottles (exporting issues) so most wineries are trying to survive on tasting fees, but you need to have decent wine. Worts service ever. We came in about a year ago and it was a great experience. Unfortunately today it was horrible more than 1 1/2 to get food. Waiters didn't even come to table to check on us or offer drinks. When we finally got food it was cold. I expressed my concern several times but staff didn't care at all. Súper nice place! I had the delicious and refreshing Rose sangria and my husband had a couple beers which he liked. We shared the cheese plate for 2 which was also really delicious and more than enough! When we got there our kids went on the playground and played, but unfortunately there was an event going on for a child and it was soon very crowded.
