The best experience for families! Don't get discouraged by the treacherous drive to this restaurant/ winery! I showed up with a group of 10 at opening time and it was the start of a perfect day, being welcomed by friendly staff. This is a beautiful place for lunch or even just a snack while wine tasting! Food was excellent! The best part of the whole experience was being able to take a tour through the winery with all the bikes! I wish I took pics of the food but was so consumed by the experience and beauty of this place!

Came here instead of another place that was closed for dinner on a Tuesday night. Seems very few places are open in the area till Thursday. Once you get past the long dirt road we were surprised to see such beautiful lush winery and restaurant. The service was great. Place is huge. Large play area in the back for kids and a bunch of bikes thinking it gets busy on the weekends. We ordered Shrimps dinner and the beef rib. So beautifully presented and both meals were tasty. They only had wines and beer I had a delicious sparkling that was excellent. Would love to come back to taste more wine along with other items on the menu

Had to get a little wine tasting in while down in Mexico and decided to check out a new location; Corona Del Valle. A friendly staff and location that provides several options for those looking for an experience. We opted for the wine tasting experience; my mother-in-law wife and I tried a different selection of wines to maximize on the experience. I have to say the Gran Reserve selection of wine was by far the best, flavorable and smooth. Everything is outdoors but with plenty of shade. Definitely a nice secluded spot we will visit again.

A SOLID 5 stars for this Winery/Restaurant from the moment you hit the parking lot. We arrived in the evening and what a "Breathtaking" property this is, perfectly lit up by unique lighting, by the Ocean just Dreamy! We opted for indoor seating since we were there in January it was a bit too Nippy to sit outside. The Entrance a Wine Wall Rack Filled with the wines terror Vineyard produces, all available for purchase haze at VERY affordable prices. Then you move into an Open Airy dining area that is just filled with Delight! The Waitstaff very attentive and aimed to Please!

Amazing experience! Open late on Valentine's Day . Ended up there last minute and I would definitely go back.

Great wine tasting--between 5 of us we tried all 3 options. We also got a cheese tray (no photo) that really hit the spot.

This was a great place to visit! Our group really enjoyed the tour and tractor ride. Memo was a great tour guide!! We ended our visit with a delicious dinner and the best dessert I have had in quite some time. I ordered their date cheesecake with coffee ice cream. Must try! Not overly sweet and just perfectly good. The staff at this winery were all delightful and I would absolutely return. Great times at this location.

Beautiful location, big variety of menu items. I hit the burger and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I'm unable to drink but I heard the wine was tasty. Service was adequate.

This was our third winery of the day, and I think that the best was saved for last. It didn't have the nicest view. I don't even know that they served the best wine, although we really liked what we tried. Here's why I think CdV should be on your Valle itinerary: - No reservation needed (at least when we visited). - Laid-back atmosphere. I liked the mellow vibe as opposed to the corporate, touristy places. - Free sangria with Yelp check-in! - Good service. Our server was down-to-earth and friendly. - We got to choose which reds and which whites to try. - Much less crowded than the other wineries. Strange, because the choices in the Valle are really limited after 5:00. - Yeah, that's right: they are open late! All of the other wineries close too early. CdV closed at 9:00 on the Friday that we were there. If you have sprog, they have a little playground. They also have some animal pens (I'm not sure how I feel about this, but your kids may be interested). We first found out about CdV from the Baja Lifestyle & Travel Expo. Look for them at the next one and hope that they bring some good bottles to sample!

First time in valle and decided to check this place out as it was recommended by a friend who is a local. We sat at the tables for tasting and from the start the staff was friendly and cheerful with us. We did the premium tasting or "degustacion" and loved it! Had to pick up two bottles for home and will be back for more!

Amazing! Fantastic place. Had caprese salad and pasta with mushroom creme sauce. The food was delicious. Staff was friendly enough. Highly recommended.

Super cool experience in the middle of a beautiful vineyard. Peaceful, quiet, with excellent and friendly service. The food was delicious and the wine tasty. I've never experienced so many layers in a wine. Definitely recommend.

You have to drive at least 5 miles just to find other restaurants or attractions, and it's about 14 miles to Ensenada if you want more options. The hotel only has one restaurant currently open, and while it was convenient, the food was overpriced for what it offered. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the property itself felt a bit neglected. There were several maintenance issues, including a broken toilet paper holder and a broken shampoo/conditioner dispenser that wasn't replaced until the following day. The paint in the room didn't match in several areas, and overall it could use some upkeep. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and the property was extremely dusty, making it difficult to enjoy being outside, so we ended up staying indoors most of the time. We also booked a room advertised with a "valley view," but our view was mostly trees and a ditch, which was disappointing and not what we expected. On the positive side, the room itself was modern, clean, and nicely designed inside. With a few minor repairs and better maintenance, it could be an excellent place to stay. The hotel was also very quiet, which made for a peaceful atmosphere, although the room had great AC. Overall, I would rate Casa Frida 3 out of 5 stars. It has potential thanks to its friendly staff

I didn't realize you needed a reservation to come here but Nathan who owns this beautiful property with his vintner wife opened up their table for the best tasting we ever had! Each pour was delicious and we also got their charcuterie board which is not on the Malva menu but you can request. Nathan was very descriptive of their wine and praised his wife on creating so many of their wines. He made it clear that this is a woman owned vineyard and he just helps out. This made us chuckle because we all are married and would love for our husbands to praise us like he did! The vineyard is very resourceful and does clean practices for winemaking making it shine in their wines. I ended up going home with their Julio wine. I can't wait to try it at home and you can be sure we'll be back!

One in particular loved to ask for head scratches by resting his head on your leg waiting for you to pet him. We got there right when they opened so service was a bit slow but that's understandable because they were still preparing for the rest of the day. Presentation was on point and made for a very fun meal. The horse mackerel rosette while not in an actual rosette was very good. Nice touch of citrus. Sea urchin flan was very umami and very filling. Gyozas were more like dumplings because they did not have any crispness to the bottom and the gyoza wrappers tasted like they were dried out in a fridge. Filling was an ox tail filling and worked wonderfully. The ramen broth however was just a bit too salty. I think if they made it into an aspic and put a bit of it with the filling it would have made for a better flavor explosion. Catch of the day was ok. The skin of the fish was kinda soggy but overall flavor was good. I think the crispness of the fish skin added with the shaving of jicama would have made it more of a standout dish. For the Pig dish, they used a suckling pig. My only complaint with the dish is they should have dried the skin out some more and made it crispier. Who isn't a fan of crispy pork skins from a suckling pig. The presentation of the desserts was the most amazing. The pumpkin is pretty much a lavender milk cereal inside and some sort of jelly and granola topped with a salted caramel ice cream. The carrot cake. This is the most delicious carrot cake I have ever eaten and the presentation itself was very fun. The carrot itself is a carrot puree that was candied and filled with a cream to look like an actual carrot.

One of our favorite parts of the visit was the chocolate and wine pairing that my husband and I did together. Finding out our sommelier was from the 805! We enjoyed the restaurant and the wine-tasting tour, and I always thought about coming back. Last weekend, I was passing through the area. The wine tours were already closed, but the restaurant was still open, so my brother and I decided to grab a quick dinner before heading to the border, wrapping up an amazing week in Rosarito. Unfortunately, the experience was very different this time around. Our waiter seemed more focused on getting us to order pricier items than on providing good service, and both the food and drinks took a long time to come out. The restaurant was not busy at the time, so I'm not sure why everything took so long. We were only a party of two, and our order was pretty basic: two cocktails, an appetizer, and two main courses. When it was time to pay, the bill came with a 20% tip already included. Nowhere did it say beforehand that gratuity would automatically be added. Considering the slow service, 20% seemed excessive. Even 15% would have been a lot for the level of service we received, but it would have felt more reasonable. I was thrown off by the experience but decided not to make a big deal about it at the time. Unfortunately, after having such a positive impression of El Cielo from my first visit, this experience left me disappointed, and it will probably be the last time I eat at the El Cielo restaurant.

We ordered Aguachile de camarón to share first which she got to us quickly. We then ordered a couple glasses of wine, water, a Marguerita Pizza, and a Flan de elote all together. The waitress told us that we needed to remind her about the Flan because she would forget. We never got our glasses of wine. We had a normal wait time for the pizza and then had to remind her after 20 minutes for her to grab water for us. She remembered to bring the Flan de elote after it looked like we were done eating our aguachile and pizza. The aguachile was great. I'd come back just for this and I normally do not like eating shrimp at all. The pizza was OK. Not the greatest but not bad. The flan de elote was great as well and actually did taste like corn. At the end of the visit she asked if we ever got our wine and we told her no but it was too late as we were done eating.
