Dr Chan was amazing after I had to switch doctor because of moving to the area. The office staff was also great. Highly recommend.

I recently was in a pain management clinic in Sacramento until they changed providers and I had to…read moreswitch to a different pain management clinic that accepted my HMO. If you feel like getting judged and being a LAB RAT then this is the place to go! I am young patient and instead of getting professional medical help and what I need, Dr Barry WILSON M.D. told me how he has a SIMILAR diagnosis (back pain) along with how HE doesn't use pain medication and how he doesn't need it. GOOD FOR YOU DR.!!! ALL he wanted to do was give me more physical therapy and more epidural/different types of shots pretty much too RACK UP MY BILL FOR MY INSURANCE... (I already did everything listed multiple times by the way with very little benefit.) I DONT have any more time to see a physical therapist 3x a week and get shots every 2 weeks. I'm a full time student and full time at a job BARELY paying off my previous medical bills. Talk about getting judged for being young and opiate use... The Dr. also was DOUBTING everything my OLD pain doctor did as far as procedures and pain control! I'm not going to sit here and tell you which doctor is better, but why raise the question of professionalism here? Does it really matter? He did it, it didn't seem to help, so why do it again? Do you really think you are a better M.D.? Thats up to the CA MEDICAL BOARD to decide... I really should be talking to the medical board and management but really ill waste my time here online instead- where people listen, critique and use for general everyday information. Instead of giving me what I need which is ONE pain medication- he tells me to get off all opiates along with the speech "you dont really need them..." Ever person reacts differently to different kinds of pain. Some will not be able to start the day without a vicodin, some will start with advil and do just fine Some dont need anything at all i.e prayer, religion, meditation, yoga... Once again talk about getting judged. I understand the doctor is scared for his license really NOT for the patient, but why make it harder on the people that really need it? It seems like the DRUG seekers have ruined it for REAL patients to get the proper medication they need or even be SCARED to ASK for something that really helps them without getting looked upon as a "seeker"!! U can talk about our criminal justice system and how it is corrupt as hell, but to be honest with everyone- the private medical system isn't too far off... Hope this helps. PLEASE do not be scared to voice your opinion. If you don't feel comfortable with your doctor or your treatment DO NOT be scared to switch and look for another doctor. UNFORTUNATELY, times are tough, which means their are many doctors out there with many clinics who will gladly accept NEW patients and listen with passion. TAKE CARE W

Dr Yabes and his answer girl are terrible at returning phone calls…read more They take over two weeks to return calls. And that was only because I kept calling. They may have never gotten back to me if I hadn't kept calling. Terrible service. Dr Yabes did a very limited exam. Then when dictating for my medical records, excluded the majority of the issues that I am experiencing. Not a Doctor that I would refer any family or friends to.

My experience at this office was probably one of the worst experiences that I can remember. I…read morewaited an hour past my appointment time. When I walked into the exam room the doctor barely acknowledged me and started asking me questions. I stopped and said hi what is your name? He didn't even look me in the face and he didn't explain to me what he was going to be doing. I was under the in assumption that the test was going to be different so it would've been nice if he would've taken the time to help ease my anxiety. He was rude to me during the exam and I had to ask him to stop being rough when he was putting the electrodes and shocking my hand for the EMG study. The shocks were pretty intense so I did tear up in my eyes and turned my head away from the doctor since I was so angry at him. I kept my mouth shut so I could hurry up and get out of there. He still didn't really offer any explanation, gentle hands, or even acknowledge that I was in pain. I feel that he was rude and that I was just on a conveyor belt of patients. The office is drab and the room was disheveled. Do not go to this establishment. You will be very upset
