When I returned, they did a song and dance about how they never said I would get a contract. I am a person with disabilities and I signed a one year contract with them in November and it was my dream come true and just before Christmas a representative called me and told me they decided to end my contract early because they thought I would do better on my own. My daughter and I both have been signed with Helen Wells for almost a year now. Everyone at this agency is so friendly and eager to help all of the talent in anyway they can. They tell you from the start that one or two jobs a year are average. This helps to not get hopes up and it is the reality of the business that you may not get any jobs but audition for several. Within six months of being signed I completed two jobs and feel as though I was prepared and supported. Communication is big for any job and I feel as though they have done such a wonderful job with that. I have gotten responses back regarding a job for the next day even late into the evening. My sister in law got a lot of work through them as in commercials and also is getting a real deal acting gig in Hollywood now. I think there was a time when Helen Wells was a legitimate agency but time seems to have moved on and left them behind. Rude staff, fake job postings on Instagram and elsewhere, and they seem desperate. It's all way too slick with no substance.
