It was awful I would not let her alter my dogs blankets, she ruined my slacks ! Think twice before going there for anything!

I brought in three items (a scarf, a sweatshirt, and a pair of pajamas) to be embroidered for my honeymoon. I was very specific about the details--monogram placement, font, and even requested that my name be done in all lowercase. Unfortunately, every item was done incorrectly. The monogram on the scarf was placed upside down (so when worn, it read incorrectly), and both the sweatshirt and pajamas were embroidered in the wrong font and not in lowercase as requested. When I brought this to their attention, I was told the original items could not be corrected and would need to be replaced and re-embroidered. To their credit, they agreed to repurchase the items. However, when I returned to pick them up, none of the items had been embroidered at all--and the pajamas provided were not even the correct pair. At that point, I requested a refund for the embroidery services I never received. I was told the employee present was unable to process a refund. I had to insist on getting something in writing stating that I would be refunded, but I have little confidence this will actually happen. I have not received a phone call, email, or any other communication to try to rectify the issue or send a refund. I've since filed a dispute with my bank. Between the repeated errors, lack of attention to detail, and inability to resolve the issue properly, this was an incredibly frustrating experience--especially given that these items were meant for a special occasion. I would not recommend this business based on my experience. The level of inaccuracy and lack of follow-through here is simply unacceptable.

AND THANK GOD I WENT WITH THEM! Maria, their bridal seamstress, was just amazing. She saw exactly what needed to be done and got it fixed in 24 hours! My dress fits better than I did after the first alterations. Despite this entire experience beginning with complete panic, Jay, Maria, and Megan put my mind at ease. The women here are kind, but that's about the only good thing I can say. I honestly don't know if they're inexperienced or just have never worked with a Black woman's curves before, but not one, not two, but three of my dresses were completely botched. I also had a top altered and it came back lopsided. After the first round of alterations, the owner tried to gaslight me, saying they had only adjusted the strap for my burgundy dress (which was never the main issue). I initially asked for the sides to be taken in because the bust area was too big, but somehow, that got lost in translation. So I paid AGAIN, for all to be fixed and what I got back was even worse. Everything felt rushed, uneven, and downright sloppy. I bawled my eyes out because these dresses were meant for my birthday trip. The white dress? It was the most horrendous one, imagine the outline of Sarah Baartman on a modern-day garment. That's how distorted the shape was. Even after a third attempt, the seams were still crooked and the dress was unwearable. I'm now left dressless for my trip and out of money. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

I haven't seen her work (yet) on fancy garments like men's suits, but based on how she rebuilt an ill-fitting pair of jeans from the Internet, I have a high degree of trust in her eye for how to move seams to accomplish a desired fit. She is kind and professional, and her sewing work is pretty good. Her pricing felt neither cheap nor expensive, but pretty much fair and mutually respectful. This is not a large-scale operation (at all) - it's Emilia in a modest storefront. While it's just a handful of minutes away for me, if you were coming in from further, I recommend calling ahead in case she is on vacation or otherwise away from work.

I gave it to her to fix because it had a large tear in the front, and I figured she would try to restore it what it was before, or at least pretend to give a fraction of an iota of a shit to make the stitching subtle, but no. Instead, it looks like she got a needle and thread, blindfolded herself, and just took out years worth of anger on my bag. The stitching is VERY visible, and VERY sloppy. It honestly looks worse than it did before. The worst part? The tear isn't even fully mended. I was so taken aback by this atrocity that I just left. I still love this bag, so I guess I'll just have to put some color-matching duct tape over it. I'm sure she's great with clothes, but maybe don't trust her with your bags.

Have had a couple of issues through the years with damaged property with dry cleaning that was rectified. BUT this recent time they destroyed a button on multiple shirts of mine. So this was obviously from the cleaning process. They wanted me to pay for the replacement. Just because they put they aren't liable for damages on the ticket doesn't make it true, they still are. Fortunately for them buttons are negligible in costs and not worth anybody's time to take it to a legal level. They've lost a long time customer. Poor business practice.

I was on the phone with the bride to be& she too "witness" how disrespectful she was. I searched for a tailor nearby my way. She popped up. I went in with a custom made dress that needed a little bit of fitting. She "assured" me that she could do that. I left my Maid of Honor dress with her TO DESTROY! Came back she took out the support (held the dress up) damaging the dress! She then "claimed (2nd time now) that she could fix it (she toss out parts of the dress *eye roll*). I gave her a 2nd chance. Came back, dress was in worst condition then the first time. She told me on the 2nd visit that if it's not up to par, I "do not need to pay her." That was my only reason for letting keep my dress a 2nd time. Instead It got progressively worst. Lastly, when I cried in her mediocre dressing room. Came out, remind her of what she said to me the last time, she claimed she never did. That she worked "really hard," & that she's never encountered in her odd years of experience such a "rude customer" that my "kind is the worst" I'm African American BTW. I guess it's okay to destroy a pricey dress & then get disrespected by racist.
