For desert we thoroughly enjoyed the date and ginger pudding which came with divine toffee sauce, white chocolate and dried apple to balance the sweetness. We were here on a cold rainy day, and my other half was in need of some hot cocoa. The restaurant was mostly empty at that time of the day, but the staff were happy to make us hot drinks while we enjoyed the climate controlled dining room and beautiful view outside. Their menu looked good, but we weren't here to eat. The restrooms were very clean. This is definitely a place for travelers as you can't drive farther south than Bluff. It's worth a stop!

The Stewart island salmon was perfectly cooked and was so rich and delicious with a great sauce on top. The black rice underneath was great as was the tomato and fresh zucchini.
