He helped me with both of my bridges that has to be redone because my previous dentist had done a horrible job and the perm bridges didn't last or stay on. He helped me with the overall cost and sympathized with the situation. The practice is Sampson Dental Group. Since Dr Baddour's semi-retirement, this group has had multiple changes of the lead dentist. It seemed like each time we came for cleaning or other issue, it was a different dentist and/or hygienist. We stopped trying to remember their names. Even front desk ladies were different. We are now searching for a different dental office.

Tried to schedule another appt to get it fixed. Was told to goto the Powell office. We drive over to Powell from New Albany only to find out they are closed and we had to goto Gahanna. Granted, I am on blood thinners which I forgot to mention , however I was not bleeding from any other place and I remember specifically the moment I was cut because there was a sharp pain and I winced and the hygienist apologized. When my bill came, I asked if there was anything they could do about the $340 charge they sent me, I had lost a half day of work because I had a mouth full of blood, I am a bartender and can not work like that. They got the dentist on the phone who offered to take $100 off of the bill. 4 months later they send me a followup bill for the remaining $100 with a note that reads "I couldn't get permission to write off more", "more" meaning anything, despite the dentist approving the discount. $100 to a dental office is nothing and I understand they are never going to admit fault, but this would have gone a long way to keeping me as a patient. I understand that I am on blood thinners, but in the 8 months I have been on them I have never had a wound that wouldn't heal like that.

The dentist was very good with describing my problem after viewing images, and suggested I needed a crown. He then said to email him if there were additional questions. After paying my bill the reception person was unable to print out the estimate I was given verbally by the dentist stating she "didn't know how to print it" and was filling in for someone out sick. So after waiting and waiting, I asked if she would be kind enough to email me it and she agreed to do so. It has been over 3 weeks and no estimate was ever sent. Two weeks ago I emailed Dr. Hollander with some follow up questions regarding the crown as well as what they are doing regarding Covid19 guidelines; to date I have still not received a response. It seems to me a very strange way to run a business. I don't think anyone would want to go to an unresponsive dentist.

We are a family of 8 and many of my companies employees are patients but nothing more than the briefest of introductions before starting in on my youngest. By the time we had left we had been admonished about his oral care, correcting his bite, expanding his palate, and potentially removing his tonsils. When I asked how I could expect compliance from a 7 year old to wear a retainer I was told ... take his iPad away from him if he doesn't ... or he will end up with a palate expander later. I am thankful that I many excellent long term relationships with orthodontists and ENTs who contradicted the given advice to give me a better and fuller understanding of this particular child's challenges. The final and completely unnecessary straw was having me sign a document acknowledging the price if his twin needed a tooth pulled ... because you can't just send the quote home with me- you need my signature... (because I'm 5.) Employees were all perfectly nice and no complaints about friendliness of employees or cleanliness and appearance of facility. The buck ends at the top though. At the end of the day it's about the attitude and relationship with the dentist. It's wasn't there for me that day.
