Lowe's manager Zach saved our bacon when we sailed (literally) into Cape Vincent anchorage with a…read moremechanical issue that needed tools we didn't have aboard. Without an Uber/Lyft/Taxi available anywhere we checked for any area hardware store that offered delivery and found Lowe's. Max told us by phone how to place the order online but online estimated delivery was Sunday by 8pm. We needed the tools ASAP so called again and the team escalated to Zach, the store manager who not only understood the challenging situation we were in, but made a call on our behalf to the delivery service mgmt to make a plea for delivery first thing the next morning and waited on hold for 20 or so minutes while the delivery supervisor found someone who would commit to an early Sunday morning delivery. And even more, Zach called me on Sunday morning as soon as the driver picked up the order and was on the way because we had to get on our dinghy and get to shore to meet him. The driver, Carlos, was also incredible. He called to say he was having trouble finding where to bring the delivery and then drove right down to the dock to get it to us. His delivery photo is going to be pretty funny I'd guess. A bag at the end of a dock! No sooner than we returned by dinghy to our sailboat and gotten the tools aboard, the sky opened up a thunderstorm so we are forever grateful for the timing of the whole process! We got the repair done and were pulling up anchor in a heavy rain by 10:30. We're now making our way through the St Lawrence Thousand Islands region making great time! Zach saved us from missing our next port! What a great example of customer service! And he did it all with a calm voice and going the extra mile. Thank you again, Zach!

I had to contact corporate about returning a tiny refrigerator that is still completely packaged like it was in the store. Two days after the 30 days and they wouldn't take it back. I had been back and forth with health procedures over two hours away and wasn't able to return it in time. No budging on their "policy" whatsoever.

I have been coming to this location for years for gas and snacks. I often arrive here late at…read morenight, and this place can't be beat when I need a quick grocery item or a cold drink after a long drive. The ice cream counter is reasonably priced and there is almost always a sale going on for cones or milkshakes. The ice cream flavors are made by Stewart's and range from classic to unique, my favorites being Fireworks (vanilla with cherry swirl, red and blue pop rocks) and Happy Camper (s'mores). You can also take their ice cream home in half gallons or pints. Stewart's also makes its own brand of drinks - soda, seltzer, iced tea, juice, and in recent years, Keurig cups. Hot coffee and prepared foods like sandwiches, pizza, and baked goods are always available. The best part of this location is that in decades of coming here, I have never had a cashier or counter person that wasn't friendly. You can't say that about too many convenience stores!

This particular employee has the sides of her head shaved short and longer in the middle. I only say this because, while I understand people have bad days, I think this particular individual needs a hug, based on her attitude. But life goes on and Stewart's Ice cream is pretty much amazing so I'll still be back
