I usually use Salvation Army but ended up in the Humane Society Thrift store parking lot. While cars space /parking is at a premium, they have done a fine job in assuring that they can receive objects efficiently. I was impressed. On another day, I went back to peruse the store. I found it very well organized, clean, and, though full to the rafters with treasures, pleasant to shop in. The workers are great, as well. I highly recommend a trip to see it! Tons of clothes on rack after rack. Very organized, not messy, well lit. Plenty of houseware, bedding, carpets, party supplies, books, knick knacks, bathroom and other items many still in original wrapping almost new. Though most things are gently used especially clothing. Candies and snacks at the register area. Public bathroom available if needed. They even had a Halloween section. Sure, Goodwill has raised its prices with some things at ridiculous amounts but sometimes you can find a good deal here if you're patient and hunt through the racks and aisles.

However, there is one policy that I find very frustrating, and it feels like a scam. Their return policy states that they do not refund money; instead, you only receive store credit. This is their biggest issue. For example, their washers are not tested, and they claim this is because there is no external water hookup available. You have just three days to make a return, so if you buy something on a Thursday, your return window will expire by the following Sunday. It's important to note that this is a commercial building, and it is against county code not to have an external water hookup. Additionally, under Florida law, retailers are not required to provide you with a refund.

I walk in, would love to buy but not for these prices. The store needs to reconsider there pricing and clear this old merchandise and collect a fair price. I was told at the Hospice Thrift by the DMV. They do not reduce Chicos brand.....what!! Even Chicos has a sale! Lol.
