I usually use Salvation Army but ended up in the Humane Society Thrift store parking lot. While cars space /parking is at a premium, they have done a fine job in assuring that they can receive objects efficiently. I was impressed. On another day, I went back to peruse the store. I found it very well organized, clean, and, though full to the rafters with treasures, pleasant to shop in. The workers are great, as well. I highly recommend a trip to see it! We were in a long line of cars but they took us in order. It was worth the wait. Sadly people just don't care and there's an overwhelming amount of feral cat colonies in Ocala. Tons of clothes on rack after rack. Very organized, not messy, well lit. Plenty of houseware, bedding, carpets, party supplies, books, knick knacks, bathroom and other items many still in original wrapping almost new. Though most things are gently used especially clothing. Candies and snacks at the register area. Public bathroom available if needed. They even had a Halloween section. Sure, Goodwill has raised its prices with some things at ridiculous amounts but sometimes you can find a good deal here if you're patient and hunt through the racks and aisles.

The store is very full, because of these prices. These items are given, they should price items to move them on. I saw a Brahmin purse priced at $150. This wasn't a big purse and I believe $75-100 would be a fair price and move quick. I saw a purse $58 As Is written on the tag! Glass items priced $28-58.00. I walk in, would love to buy but not for these prices. The store needs to reconsider there pricing and clear this old merchandise and collect a fair price. I was told at the Hospice Thrift by the DMV. They do not reduce Chicos brand.....what!! Even Chicos has a sale! Lol.
