I have been visiting the Sheriff's Ranches thrift store for the past 13 years, and most of the time, my experiences have been fine. However, there is one policy that I find very frustrating, and it feels like a scam. Their return policy states that they do not refund money; instead, you only receive store credit. This is their biggest issue. For example, their washers are not tested, and they claim this is because there is no external water hookup available. You have just three days to make a return, so if you buy something on a Thursday, your return window will expire by the following Sunday. It's important to note that this is a commercial building, and it is against county code not to have an external water hookup. They SERIOUSLY price gouge. One employee tried to con me out of my store credit when I had returned an electronic item. The same employee told me I had three days to return it under the return policy, but I'd need to bring it back on Tuesday as they were closed Monday...they are open on Monday. Monday would have been the 3rd day. If I waited to return it until Tuesday I would have been stuck with a $60 item that didn't work. This place is absolutely terrible in all ways. Dirty, over priced for actual junk.... I'm not going to write much more but wow all the shoes had rot (which spreads btw) and a dress w holes and stains for $65. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. read more

I was just here buying 2 teal chairs and everyone watched me struggle to my car halfway through he parking lot alone carrying them. They're solid wood and I may look young and healthy but I have a serious heart issue and just because I am alone doesn't mean they shouldn't haven't behaved professionally and helped me to my car. Now I am headed to the ER with chest pain. Thank you for being so selfish. read more

Called the store about a donation. Get there and the staff tells us we have no room for it! Will never go there again. Be careful the staff does not know what they are doing at all. They are also ripping people off! read more

They are very polite and offer pickup service too for donating items. I hope my gently used items go to good homes.

It's like a daily treasure hunt. Treasures I didn't even know I needed. Like their FB page for specials.

This thrift store used to be decent but coming in recently I've noticed that their prices are absolutely ridiculous. A broken brass tuba for 50 dollars? Cheap pool sticks for 40? Cheaply made tools for brand new prices? I'd rather buy everything brand new considering the price difference is minimal at most. read more

Great place. So much to choose from at super low prices. I go atleast once a week. If you see something you like, get it or it will be gone. Great staff. Really nice furniture pieces. Above all, my purchases go to a children charity. Great store. read more

Sheriff Ranches is a hit and miss. If you're looking for furniture, it's usually pretty good with a lot of inventory at decent prices. Clothes and shoes are decently priced. Their misc household items towards the back, if you really dig through you might find what you need. However, I was looking for some silverware and noticed there was food still left on a few of the pieces in the set I wanted. I just left it there. I went in today and got really grossed out. I browsed the pet department and they had one of those little panties for dogs in heat. There was a used pad still attaced with dried up blood on it and it was filthy. It's like they don't take that extra time to really look through their donations. Also, many of the nik nak items are broken, games missing pieces and they even put used, very expired items like lotions an cosmetics and half filled cheap shampoo. read more
