At…read morefirst glance, it looks like you're about to hit the jackpot--but once you start browsing, it feels a bit underwhelming. From a distance the shelves look full, but up close there isn't much that stands out. Kind of a "Mona Lisa effect"--better from afar than up close. That said, the staff was friendly. One woman who worked there--short, wore glasses--was especially kind, though I didn't catch her name. The store is laid out nicely, and they had a lot of furniture available. If you're furniture shopping, this might actually be a good stop; the pieces looked decent and reasonably priced. They also appeared to use a color-tag discount system, though I'm not sure if it changes daily. About half the store was clothing, and the other half was bric-a-brac and furniture. I personally didn't find much this visit, but it could've just been an off day. I'd consider checking back in a couple of weeks to see if inventory changes. I did leave with one fun find: a vintage floating pool drink holder shaped like a rainbow, with space for ice and drinks--super cute and only $5. On the flip side, some prices felt off, like used wrapping paper priced at $3 when you can get a new roll at Dollar Tree for $1. Overall, it's worth checking out, especially for furniture, but don't go in expecting major thrifting treasures. Pretty cool that they are open on a Sunday, though. I will give them that. A medium size parking lot right in front. And a big grassy area if you have a dog that needs to go to the bathroom. Check it out? Definitely! Are there better thrift stores in Lakeland? Definitely!

We have found many treasures here in the past and decided to try our luck again today…read more The color coded tag sales are your best bet for a real bargain! Look for the colored plastic stem that attaches the price tag to the garment. If that piece matches the special pricing color as displayed, just as your enter the front door, you will save a lot. Some clothes ok price but it's crazy that a lot of the donated stuff is being sold as new. The age of side hustle here has ended. At least we still got salvation army, antique stores and Some times light house. don't buy shoes there either though. Good for other stuff like goodwill is now. Place smells like an old warehouse, it always been like this. My problem started on the way out. They got rid of their from work force and replace it with self check out. I don't even know why? Im more weirded out they even have an inventory when most their stuff is donated. So im not an asshole with stuff missing tags. I actually rather take the high road and make sure they see im not cheating the system. I told the only person in a register about it. She spoke over me and directed someone else to her. When she understood what she did she called someone. Another person showed up and they wouldn't help me. After 30 mins someone comes and takes the pants n doesn't come back for another 15mins. To do what exactly? There's no way he gonna find inventory like it. They are donated clothes. Hence my argument about why even have inventory? Comes back to tell me just scan another pair of pants. BRO i told them this same shit at the start and they wasted 45 mins of my god damn time. Moral of the story? Don't waste your time they don't understand basic costumer service. Just scan another item in your basket and move on. Nobody is really giving a damn about quality control anyways. Why should you? By all means scan the same item 3 times and enjoy your $7 bucks of whatever. This place was way better with human cash register that knew what they were doing. Provably not coming back unless my family wants to but me on my own time? No way. I got better places to go.

(The vintage store next door shares that honor.) This may not be where you come to find higher end antiques, but there's definitely a great deal of vintage odds & ends here. There's even salvage. Hours are 11 AM to 5 PM-- FRIDAY THRU SUNDAY. Not only is there a small house filled w/ merchandise, but step outside under the carports to browse the large quantity of additional merchandise. What might you discover? Glassware, bakeware, & serving sets; toys & games; miscellaneous wall decor; furniture; lamps & lighting features; tools; clothing & shoes; costume jewelry; small appliances; vases; golf clubs; misc sporting goods; wood pens & cutting boards (both new); candles, homemade soaps, & rag dolls (all new), etc-- SEE ALL THE PICS Seriously LOW PRICES on everything, yet there were still many items discounted up to 50%. The female owner was very sweet & her Mexican hairless puppy was fascinating-- I couldn't resist snapping a picture:) Will we return when in the area again? Of course! My buddy was able to pick up a legitimate mid-century metal, butterfly wall sculpture for almost nothing. Although he's going to keep it for his home, now that it's been cleaned up & he's added three glass vintage votive candleholders, he could easily sell it & make a large profit on it. This vintage shoppe sits beside The Florida Farmhouse Market. DEFINITELY STOP IN should you enjoy anything vintage, along w/ savings! And do converse w/ the lovely owner. She was so gracious & appreciative of having her business added to Yelp.

It was odd that she was changing the garment in the middle of the day (almost 3:00 pm), but what took me aback was when she hit me with the garment because of how dramatically she was swinging it about. No apology, but that would have been disingenuous because I suspect she did it on purpose. The same employee then yelled something at me rudely as I was having a conversation with someone else. By this time I was seeing a pattern. I'd decided at checkout time I'd avoid having to deal with her because I try to avoid nastiness if I can. Well there was a nice couple in front of me. They we're speaking another language, but they also speak English. They kindly let me go ahead of them because they were paying with cash and I was using card, so they we're waiting for Debbie (the employee I've been speaking of) to stop having a leisurely conversation with another customer who'd brought dogs into the store. Debbie was petting the dogs and talking like me and the nice couple were not even in line. I thanked them and took them up on their offer. The lady beside Debbie who had just waved me over then left me to go and talk to the lady with the dogs. It was an act of disrespect and just plain inconsiderate. If I hadn't gotten her attention she would have kept me waiting, especially since there were only me (black America) and the brown couple waiting. That's called a micro-aggression. The being hit by the garment, that was just aggressive. I'm telling this experience 15 minutes later, but legend has it that other nice couple is still waiting for Debbie to stop talking to those dogs. Be careful folks.
