I found this place by accident after searching for a chest of drawers on fb marketplace. I never thought I would find the most perfect piece to fit my needs and it was in an actual store. I called ahead of time to make sure the piece was still there bc we had a long drive, the owner, Dave answered the phone and offered to mark it spoken for since we were driving a long way. I thought that was very kind. I have been through this little historic district before but never checked out any of the stores. I was pleasantly surprised. It was rather spacious and had so many beautiful items, everything under the sun here. THere was so much to look at that I strolled right past my chest. I mean I even stopped right in front of it to admire some gorgeous glass and ceramic bowls on it that I would love to go back and get! I happened to speak to the very same woman who was selling the chest and I was not disappointed. we bartered for a bit and I went home with an epic piece of furniture. Dave was there to help us load it into my suv and suggested The Brickhouse across the street. I reviewed that as well. I will definitely return in the future to pick up some more treasures.

Always a fun place to poke around in the past

What a fun place to visit the past. The building, on Collins Street in downtown Plant City, oozes charm-and the merchandise... a combo of quaint homemade items and vintage finds... is always fun to browse. There's everything from 50s barware to vintage hutches. The options change all the time, so it's never the same place twice. I stop in whenever I'm nearby, just to have a look.

It's a gorgeous old building that hosts approximately 30 vendors. From the walls, to the wood floors, to the high ceilings, this is a building that everyone should see (if you appreciate vintage architecture). This is Year #6 that the doors have been open. As for the merchandise, there were not as many antiques as I like to see, but there were many gorgeous vintage & modern day pieces-- jewelry, clothing, home decor, glassware, paintings, ceramics, signage, etc. Prices differed depending upon the vender, but overall they were too high. This is a beautiful, clean, & perfectly organized shoppe. There was a coffee pot accompanied by coffees, but it sat empty. The younger of the three owners was at the checkout counter. He was not the friendliest of sorts; I felt as though he was uncomfortable conversing, yet not shy. His personality was unimpressive considering his job is to make money (friendliness sells:) I wanted to purchase a beautiful, bright, multicolored Venetian vase that was marked $129, but this shoppe will not lower any item's price "unless it's a high end antique." (I was told.) The owner doesn't even phone the vendor to negotiate, so I left w/ just a vintage costume brooch & artsy clearance earrings... & little incentive to return. It's a very interesting shoppe to browse, but not an establishment for serious antique connoisseurs (or for anyone wanting great deals).

I drive by it on…read morea daily basis but never paid any attention to it and to be honest, I had no idea what kind of store it even was. To my surprise it has been open for five years and has been doing very well. My first impression as I walked in was...I can't afford anything in here...and I better not bump into anything. That's NOT so! Sure, you have some pieces that are expensive, but she also sells things that even I can afford. The prices range anywhere from a dollar...yes a dollar...up to a thousand. So there's a lot of leeway in how much to spend or what you can afford. Everything in this store is unique. If you want to find something to buy as a wedding gift, birthday gift, or for any occasion, be assured that no one else will be bringing the same gift as yours and your gift will stand out among the rest. There is also a good selection of home decor and accessories that even I would display in my house. There was so much to look at without having that overwhelming feeling that I sometimes get when I walk into a store. Of course, she carries one of my biggest downfalls...jewelry. Each piece is uniquely hand made by local jewelers. I actually bought a really nice necklace made out of silk and recycled glass. And guess what? I won't be seeing it on anyone else:-) Not only are there things for the home, but also for your pets! I could go on and on about this shop. You should definitley check this place out. The owner herself is so nice and willing to help you with whatever you are looking for in your price range. I highly suggest you check it out. Don't even bother looking anywhere else until you have come here. ORANGE is a wonderful and unique little store that I am happy to say....I FINALLY found!

I did a couple sound test with one of my new gear was looking for something in particular for my short form film projects. After playing around i found something i recognized from one of my many previous jobs! A train cabin key! Bro these are pricey in online antique forms. I got it for $3.25. I already came up with ways to use it. Both film and i been researching clockwork builds. I love that art form so much. Its heavy on the math and physics. Cant wait to start! I saw something new they had on display. They had a couple of black lights show casing "Sugar glass" the antique glass reacts to the black lights and shine very brightly. If u like unique collections n decor? This would be a great way to collect old glass ware and just display for parties. Or for streamers with cyber punk notes. Kid you not the glass almost looks like a digital vector. Although i played with alot if things? I was happy with the key. I saw something that we both wanted but we dont have room for it. On our way out of the other store someone else bought it. It is the name of the game. The gentleman looked very happy. It was a one of those old school record players built into a table. It would had been nice to have space for it, we already have a family heirloom like that. Mom brought hers from Germany. love buying records for it n let it soar. No power just clockwork.

The people working don't even bother to speak or even look up. I was the only customer in the store. The person working walked past me several times without even a glance. Considering that I never see anyone in the store (and for good reason.)You'd think they would at least try to interact with the few customers that they have. Luckily the shop has nothing that I would have so I don't feel the need to go back.

I would say for the most part a lot of the prices are pretty reasonable too- it's not an uppity antique shop that charges sky high numbers for everything and is way too proud to ever price down. Its hours are Friday thru Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM. The business advertises itself as offering "Antique, Vintage & Primitive Furniture & Pieces." They also take items on consignment. These owners are PICKERS-- they sort thru farmhouses & barns to locate what you'll see on the shelves, walls, & floor. (The wooden mid-century owl I bought here was the only thing the owners located in one particular room of a barn.) Prices here were REASONABLE-- VERY LOW on most items. The female owner we spoke w/ was VERY friendly & also willing to give discounts on purchases. Accompanying her in the shoppe was her gorgeous & friendly House Dog. Her husband was perched on a bench out front near the entrance. The shoppe offers hand-poured candles by a local candle maker, as well as many excellent vintage toys-- a very nice selection @ low prices. You'll also find Fiestaware; home decor; primitive furniture (aka pre-industrial); window panes; glassware; & pretty much anything a regular antique store & salvage shop holds. Due to the nature of picking, merchandise here will vary quite rapidly. We definitely want to return due to the possibilities of what we might find upon each visit (& due to the excellent pricing). Check out this vintage shoppe; it's WORTH YOUR TIME!
