Nice outside shopping area right in Lakeland. Our whole Fam has a great time here and they have many food options. We did notice on our last trip that there were a decent amount of store fronts now closed, hopefully other will come in soon and this isn't going to be another half full shopping center. We would really miss going here. They have a movie theatre, plenty of food choices from semi affordable to less affordable and a decent amount of stores to peruse through. Most of the stores are your basic chains, but at least you can have a nice walk outside with nice scenery while you walk. They had a huge Christmas tree, great for a photo op. The only thing this place is lacking is for a more trendy or niche/boutique stores that would sell non dept. Store/Mall items. You know something different!!! If you want to have a nice walk about while you shop/eat then check this place out, it's good for a day out with Fam for sure!!! read more

Lakeside Village - Shopping Centers Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

Stopped by this outside mall as the alternative stop instead of crowded Bonnet Springs Night Event. Initially this reminded me of Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. I think it's a little bit smaller but similar layout and stores. What I didn't like the most is how dark it was. I don't think that's so safe. It was early enough to where there was at least two more hours of shopping before stores closed yet really dark. It's been about 10 years since I've been here, and it seems to look about the same as that time. They did have a Christmas tree in the center. That at least brightened the place up a bit. The stores off hand that I recall where Bath and Body, Kirkland's, a boutique with country ware, a Thai restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant, BD's Mongolian BBQ which I was surprised to see, & a Grillsmith. They also had a movie theater and a book store. Those were some of the stores off hand. There were also a handful of empty spaces. I wish every outdoor mall was just like Lakeside Village. Even though it'd get a little repetitive, it's just so nice! This is my go-to spot because of the endless possibilities of shopping, dining and entertainment options. Lakeside Village has double digit restaurants featuring seafood (of course, it's FL), Thai, sushi, pizza, Mongolian, Mexican, Italian, Greek, coffee, high quality American, and a few bars. There's also ice cream and a bakery! The retro, neon lights of Cobb Theater (now called CMX but it'll always be the Cobb) shine a colorful glow on the cobblestone paths of the outdoor mall. It's one of my favorite movie theaters I've been to, and especially nice on those $5 Admission Tuesday's. Lakeside Village has equally as many stores as restaurants, like Bath & Body Works, Victoria's secret, PacSun, Claire's, Kohls, GNC, Loft, and more. They have jewelry stores, home stores, a big book store, shoe stores, along with a really goofy candy/ soda store. There's a nail salon, a dreamy spa, a specialty gym, and a couple hotels so you can walk easily to and from. There's so much there all in such easy grasp, wrapped around a main circle that holds a giant Christmas tree during holiday time. This is the area you want to stop in if you visit Lakeland. You could go to the other mall, Lakeland Square up north, but this is far superior. read more

I like the outdoor mall when it isnt raining. However, I like that my store, Vickie Secret is located there. Parking can be overwhelmingly far from a specific store you would love to run in and out. However, they have a good selection of department stores, a movie theater, and restaurants. read more

It's not lakeside nor is it a village...more like a marketplace. Whatever you call it, it's an expansive outdoor shopping area. Slightly upscale with meticulous grounds, there's 2 roundabouts with shopping in each direction off shooting from them. Tons of shopping of all kinds, clothing, knick knacks, décor and everything else. I noticed a BBB and so many other shopping experiences. Food? Not a problem as there's several anchors including Grillsmith, Fish City & Burger 21. Highlighting all the stores is an IMAX 18 theatre so you can actually keep very busy for an entire day or 2. The only drawback is the "street" parking is in high demand. There is no way you could park and walk the entire huge shopping area. You need to park and re-park and possibly park at one of the end stores where there is actually a large lot. That's just how marketplaces are today. Still much better than a mall. ;-) read more

I have always loved this mall... but today when I walked into my Jeweler to pick up 3 rings I had resized, I was shocked to walk through a plywood door and hear he had been broken into and robbed. Far more shocking was to hear the exact same thing happened to him and other tenants last year! And there is only ONE security guard on duty after midnight.... something these criminals clearly realize. The rings I brought in were valuable and irreplaceable. Luckily my jeweler places all of that in a secure safe. But that the management of this mall feels such minimal security is sufficant with recititive criminal activity...has me rethinking how and when I will shop at this mall. I mean we let our teens go to the late movie shows! I am considering sending comments to the Ledger so many others are made aware of this lack of security. Not Good! read more

Attended book signing at the Lakeland location yesterday, it was NOT a book signing, it was a meet and greet. Books were already autographed, no personalization available or NO taking photographs. Very disappointed in Judge Jeanine and Books A Million I drove an hour each way with five words I wanted written in the book for the book signing of course that did not happen truly filled ripped off for the $33 I paid read more

Lakeside Village is an attractive outdoor shopping mall with some half dozen restaurants, a large movie complex, and a plethora of department and specialty stores. I've always wanted to use the word plethora in a Yelp review. Anchors include Kohl's, Belk, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Books-A-Million. Smaller stores include Victoria's Secret, Jos. A. Banks, Bath and Body Works, and Talbot's, plus many more. A Hampton Inn is steps away from the center of the mall and two other hotels and more restaurants and stores are around the periphery of the property. Lakeside Village is an enjoyable spot for walking, especially during the seven or eight weeks of the year when it's coolish. Recommended. read more

I like this busy Shopping area in Lakeland FL. Multiple places to eat, shop and get services. It is laid out like a little town with small storefronts and then off to the sides are big box stores like Books A Million, BBB, Kohl's etc and an IMAX theater. Small restaurants, sandwich places and a pizza place are mixed in with other shops. Although there are many things to like about this mall and the comments of my original review still stand I have to "ding" this mall on behalf of the disabled. It is not of "universal design and there are very few "curb cuts" for wheelchairs at this mall. If you want to go to Beefs or Valdianos you have to go all the way to Crispers/Cobb to get across and go back to this wing--and there's only one way out--to Crispers or down the middle of the street to that parking lot! You can't get around Crispers outdoor seating and if people are seated--you can't get around them by wheelchair and must go all the way around Bed Bath & Beyond the other way. No doors had automatic push button opening (only one store held the door for the disabled customer, of 8). The sidewalks are all "cobbled" with brick which also is not fun by chair. The center garden is accessible to walking people but not wheeled people. Handicapped spaces for Books a Million are all the way at Beefs. The architects should be shot for their lack of thinking on these types of fixes so that allll people can shop easily here. read more

Very nice place to shop and eat. There's a lot of little shops where you can find almost anything you are looking for. The food selection is also expansive. We moved away from Lakeland for several years and when we would come back every few months for visits, we always stayed at the Hampton Inn at Lakeside Village just so we could stroll around here. It's got good shopping and dining choices in a beautiful outdoor street market setting, well landscaped and well maintained. A nice center fountain in the roundabout has open space for the kids to play and benches for just sitting, relaxing and enjoying the open air. Great venue for walking and window-shopping! Several of the restaurants have street-side tables in addition to indoor dining. Come at Christmas; they mount an gigantic lighted tree over the fountain and have Christmas music and artificial snow! read more

Parking could be better but overall it's a great place. There is always something to do. Especially around the holidays they always have fun things for the kids and they decorate for Christmas. It is maintained and kept clean!! read more
