Long story short, this location ruined our proposal/engagement by sending us the wrong sized ring. Long version: This location made a huge mistake with my engagement ring and no one there seems to care. I've planned this for a long time. I made sure I went with my now fiance to make sure the ring we picked out could fit my size 4 finger. My finger was sized on site and they knew I was a size 4. My fiance took the ring and went off to the side to buy it. I came over to make sure everything was good, but the salesperson shooed me away. They didn't tell us the ring would take almost two months to get shipped to the store until after my fiance paid for it. The ring would come in a size 5 and once it arrived at the store it would take a week for them to size it down to a 4. Then they would ship it to us. After all of this, it should have been shipped to us in a size 4 ready to go by the first week of April. He received it then, so on schedule. Then he proposed to me. The ring fell off. It was a size 5. So what was the extra week for? So of course this ruined the proposal and proposal pictures because it is clearly too big on my finger and then we were running around town to find spacers. I couldn't even wear my ring without worrying it would fall off. We proceeded to spend $30 to overnight spacers that may or may not have gotten to me in time before work the next morning. The spacers didn't fit right. Isn't that what you are supposed to do? Be super excited and show off your ring to all of your friends and coworkers? I called and spoke to the salesperson who sold us the ring and she kept trying to rush me off the phone. It wasn't until after I was saying how inconvenient this was that she apologized. But she never let me explain any of what I just mentioned. She just said since I have the protection plan I could ship it in and get it sized for free. She sent me a shipping label after I pushed for it. I asked her how long it would take. She didn't offer expedited shipping/processing. It was like pulling teeth to get a time frame. It was going to take over 10 days. When she told me a time frame I told her I couldn't do that because my mom was flying into town to go to the bridal expo with me and watch me try on dresses at some salons. Of course I want to wear my ring during this. She said she would work on the label and then call me back. I wanted to express how pissed off and disappointed I was with the service and how this store is ruining my engagement. But she never called me back. My fiance had called prior to this and she didn't seem to care then either. I don't think they realize how much they ruined this moment for us. It's a once in a lifetime thing and I will never get that back. Since my mom left, I have now shipped off my ring and I am waiting for it to get sized. On a side note, the center stone doesn't look as nice as the ring I tried on in the store. read more

Nightmare of an experience! If you choose to not read the whole thing, know that Helzberg is responsible for property damage on my ring as well as fraudulent sales tactics to sell rings out of desperation. If I could go back 2 1/2 years and stop us from buying a ring from here, I would.  I walked in knowing exactly what ring I wanted. I defined that I wanted a platinum band. My husband was proposing at a later date and wanted me to pick my ring. We had them put the ring in their system so he could come and purchase it. He came back, and purchased the ring I had selected (platinum). During this, he was told he would not be allowed to order a new ring, that he had to take the floor model. That ring was a 9.5 and I wear a 4-6. They still pushed him to buy it. Their solution was to put a rusty bar in the ring to make it fit. Oh and spoiler alert the ring was not platinum. Fast forward, the ring immediately started to tarnish. It went from silver to dull yellow in a few months. I took it in every 3 months for inspection and it was not acknowledged. I went to the jeweler I had bought my band from and they immediately noted the tarnishing and told me I needed rhodium plating. I did address the tarnishing with Helzberg and was told it would take 6-8 weeks and decided to wait.  Fast forward again. My stone became loose so I brought it in. I asked for that and the plating to be fixed.  My husband picked it and I was so excited that it was shiny I didn't immediately inspect the prongs. That night I noticed that several prongs had been bent and no longer lined up. I was furious, I sent my ring to get it fixed and they sent it back damaged. A few days later the ring started to tarnish again. I sent an email to Helzberg, sending them pictures of both the damage/tarnish. The response I received was lies and excuses. I ended up just calling, the conversation lasted an hour, where I explained years of problems/that I had lost trust in the company. I was offered to mail my ring in and I declined until my case was reviewed by someone higher up. We received an email that we'd get a response in 2 business days, we did not. In that time frame, we went to a jeweler and they looked it over. When the jeweler came back, she asked me what type of metal my ring was. She informed me it was white gold not platinum. Also, Helzberg damaged my ring so badly, that I need a new setting. The jeweler also addressed the tarnishing and told me rhodium should last 6 months to a year. She said it appears Helzberg has a bad batch of rhodium. At this point, we hadn't heard back from Helzberg. The next day, we got an email saying they were closing my case because they had emailed us (it went to spam) and hadn't heard back and the solution, mail the ring in. My request to speak to someone higher up was ignored. I called Helzberg and asked to speak to a supervisor but was not allowed to. I explained everything plus the new information. I was told the store needed to be reached out to to verify and I would be called back. Lo and behold the store's response was along the lines of "oops we're not sure how that switch and mistake happened." Verifying to me that a mistake was made and that my ring did come in platinum. The solution offered before they would escalate the situation was for me to go to the store and get it fixed or get it set in platinum. But here's the real kicker, if I wanted it in platinum I would have to pay the difference. I was being held financially responsible for Helzberg's mistake. That brings us to today. We went in and I told the woman "helping" us what happened. She made all the wrong choices in handling the situation. She chose to interrupt me and correct me. She even went as far as to lie and say my ring did not come set in platinum even though it had been verified by 3 employees. She made an offer to try and fix it or I had to pay the difference. I told her we'd be taking our money elsewhere and left. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. My husband and I regret ever setting foot in their location and it's worth the extra cost to go elsewhere. read more

We decided to add a halo to my wedding ring, and both Gina and Glenn were amazing to work with. Their jeweler, Brian, did an outstanding job keeping the integrity of my original ring, and made the halo addition match perfectly. I bought a $645 watch a 1 1/2 year ago and suddenly the watch stop working, walked in with the receipt and the 2 year warranty certificate and they sent me to the kiosk on the 1st. floor to buy a battery, and they even didn't look at the watch. (even if is the battery a $600 + watch should last little bit longer) I expected little more customer care from the sales associates and show more respect specially when a watch doesnt last more than a year and a half!!! They didnt want to help me even thought the watch still under WARRANTY. I contacted the brand directly and they will replace the watch without even asking questions.
