Established in 1978.
Since 1978, the Helzner Family has provided the finest piano service to the Delaware Valley and South Jersey region. Owner David Helzner is a second-generation piano technician known for his reliability and professionalism, as well as his flexibility in scheduling appointments, which includes evenings and weekends. Same day or next day rush is also available. Each and every on-site service is performed by David to ensure quality service and expert care.
With work completed on well over ten thousand pianos, David is regarded as one of the very best in his craft. His clients include Philadelphia-area music schools, jazz clubs, colleges and universities, as well as, some of the area's finest concert halls and venues, including The Academy of Music and Mann Music Center. David is also the piano technician for some of the most renowned Philadelphia-area musicians, opera singers, bands and composers.
Meet the Business Owner: David H.
David Helzner was born in and grew up in Northeast Philadelphia. Beginning in his teenage years, David assisted his father in various aspects of piano restoration and repair.
David is a graduate of Temple University's Business School. After college, he stayed involved in piano work, working evenings and weekends for his father. At age 27, David made the decision to become a full-time piano technician.
David, a resident of suburban Philadelphia, is married and has two children.
