I was in the area and i stumbled across Hemp House on accident. I walked in and was promptly greeted by Ms. Rita the owner. Shes a very sweet and informative person. I didn't realize there were so many CBD products out there for different ailments. The store feels very posh, trendy, and clean. They have gummies, water, drinks, teas, edibles, and more. It's 2020. My anxiety has been a constant companion for months and over the last few weeks my insomnia has been making life more challenging. Found this place through a google search. Trying to find an alternative to big pharma medication for anxiety. Spoke with Rita this morning. She was knowledgeable and helpful. She wants her customers to be happy and to be helped. They were very busy right at opening. Good signs. She recommended tincture drops and a vaporizer. I chose Cherry AK from Lumi and 1000mg tincture to start. Fred was also there (his first day) and had great information. I also purchased a giraffe nuts chocolate caramel with CBD. Not only was it delicious but I felt almost an immediate calming sensation. What an amazing place! When I came in I was a bit lost, but I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful the guy at the shop was. He was so informative about everything I asked about. He gave in depth information, and made me feel comfortable enough to try almost everything I asked about. I purchased a few drinks, gummies, and pre rolls. I'm used to the real deal, so I wasn't too sure at first, but the products were pretty good considering. The place is so clean, and tidy. I love when everything looks so calm, orderly, and smells nice. Those are things I'm for sure looking for in places like this (organization is important okay?!? I have been going to HempHouse Wellness for over 2 years. They are so professional and knowledgeable and in the medical field. I heard about Hemp House Wellness from attending a Wine Festival at the Convention Center in Virginia Beach. I had a lovely conversation with a woman, unfortunately I can't remember her name. I told her about my dad who has chronic pain from a motorcycle accident when he was a teenager. He had 13 operations on both his legs and because of this, he has arthritis and a pain that is incredibly hard to deal with. On top of this he has tinnitus which is a constant ringing in your ears. He is a high stress person in general, and with all of these problems it doesn't make his day to day life any easier. With all this information She had recommended a few products and to visit the store. Fortunately, I live close so I was able to make a stop and purchase what I needed. Fred, if I remember correctly, helped me in the store. He was incredibly knowledgeable and suggested some gummies as well as oil for my dad. I also purchased a topical cream for my mom who has locking in her fingers. My parents were very skeptical at first, especially my dad who thinks he's "tired everything" and "nothing works." They left the products on counter for 2 weeks before they used them, because they were afraid it wouldn't work. After several FaceTimes and numerous convincing conversation, they finally tried it. What a time to be alive! From the power of Yelp, my girlfriend and I traveled a great 3 miles and found an oasis in Virginia Beach: Hemp House Wellness. Do not get me wrong, I was very skeptical at first since I have never heard about this place, but my feelings soon changed. Right when we walked in, I felt at home and the staff made it that way. The whole staff is great, but a worker named Fred introduced himself to us right when we walked in the door to give us that sense of home. Fred has studied this medicine for years and he proved to me he knew his stuff. Not only was Fred very helpful in educating us about the medicine, but he took the time to answer any questions of concern and made sure we had the right medicine for us. The shop has a wide range of things but I really enjoyed the Non GMO, Vegan cartridges we purchased. Unlike every glass/smoke shops, HHW guarantees a safe way to return your items if faulty. *I have not had a problem with any faulty equipment from HHW* Even if I did, I know Fred and the rest of the staff would take the time and work with me to get it fixed to make sure I am happy.
