Henann was honestly such a great hotel! Granted, it is definitely a touristy section and resort. However, it has all the comforts that I look for in a resort. This is not the place for you if you want to be in nature. The food was great and service was superb! Oh, definitely try their breakfast buffet. I can't say the same for dinner buffet.

Delux room with pool view for $110 us per night! very comfy bed!

    * Price: very good for what they have to offer. $100 usd per day for delux room, $110 for pool view; $150 USD for pool access room. Breakfast is included with room. 4 star. * Accommodation: nice room with large bathroom, flat screen TV, coffee maker, refrigerator, safe box, hair dryer, soap/shampoos, slippers. Multiple pools with direct access to beach. nice gym; several restaurants on site. 4+ star. * Location: very good location. 30 min drive from airport. nice beach with many restaurants and shops. 4 star. * Motif: modern decor with tropical feels, very clean. westernized bathrooms and toilets. 4 star. * Service: excellent. Kudo to the manager! The staff is very well trained and very pleasant! 5 star. We stayed here for 3 days and really enjoyed our stay. My friend who had stayed at the Amerita next door 2 years ago decided to stay here this year. This is my first time in the Philippines. We have pool view rooms. The pool access room may be an option if you are staying here longer and/or plan to stay locally. Since we were planning to do activities everyday, we decided not to go with pool access room. The staff is very pleasant and well trained. From the desk to restaurant to house keeping, everyone is very nice and has big smile and constantly greeting us. I also is impressed with the cleanliness of common area as well as the pools. It is quite difficult to keep the common area free of bugs and creepers! We did have breakfast at the Coral Cafe as well as Sea Breeze Cafe. The Coral Cafe has more foot traffic. Therefore, the food selections are better and fresher at Coral Cafe. They have so many selection for breakfast (fruits, omelet station, hot food station, local food, congee with many toppings, etc.) and the food is delicious! You can also get massage on the beach by local ladies for a couple hundred peso (less than $10 USD). We hired the local guide with their boat to island hopping for 2000 peso ($40 usd) per day (for 4 people)! The Buzz cafe next door is also a good choice for lighter meal if you don't want to fill up on buffet at Sea Breeze cafe! We did not have any problem with wifi at late night... since I was on vacation, I only used wifi to post pictures and check-in with family and friends from home. I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends and family! Room Tip: pool access or pool view room, check our sunrise and sunset from the beach!!!

Update: By 10am the following day we still did not get a call. We went to the front desk to follow up. The manager came out, holding our paperwork. It appears she was already aware of our situation but never reached out to us. Again, no apologies made. At this point they still had no answer as to what happened. Finally, they assured us we can stay at the rooms we were currently in. Hours later, we were informed that the mistake was made by trip.com. We were given plates of fresh fruits with an apology note........... Let me mention that while we were waiting at the lobby that first night, we looked online and it showed that premier rooms were indeed available. They claimed they had no rooms available at all, which is a huge lie, because what she should have said was there are rooms but they are allocated for other third party booking companies. This is a beautiful resort. The facilities are clean. The rooms have the necessities and a few luxuries. The wait staff is satisfactory except for a few who truly gave great service. The food is excellent. The pool areas are clean and beautiful. The beach area is mediocre. i have always loved panglao, especially its powdery sand and inviting, calm and warm waters but they could definitely stand to keep the shores cleaner. Vendors and bystanders crowd the shores. That is a cultural thing, however, so if you can view it as a part of the cultural charm then great. Tips: Book directly with them. Do not use third party booking companies. If you are checking in late, call ahead. If you are the kind of customer who wants to stay in a beautiful resort and are perfectly fine with receiving mediocre service, this might be a place for you.

I booked 2 rooms for my Philippine vacation in this hotel. I got the standard room & family room. Got here yesterday & was really amazed how beautiful this resort is. Theirs a lots of pools close to the hotel & close to the beach. Rooms are very clean & bed is huge. All workers are very friendly & attentive. Free breakfast buffet is awesome! Food are delicious. I give 4 star because wifi is really slow. But all in all, its worth my $$$. Love this resort! Spectacular!

One of the best resorts I've stayed in anywhere in the world. From the service, to the comfort, the conveniences, and the cleanliness of the entire place. I splurged for a pool villa here whole some of my other family got a room connected to a pool. Either room was great. We used the villa as a gathering place in the mornings as it came with a lanai with lots of seating. While this is not an all inclusive resort it seems like it's pretty easy to book a package with at least breakfast. The breakfast buffet was great. They had a lot of choices with a few new specials each day. The resort location was ideal, with the beach right in front and the hot spots for eating and shopping walking distance. We also used the concierge to book tours. I can't recommend doing this enough. The price is only slightly more than going with a vendor walking along the beach and is more reliable. We had done both, with the beach vendor failing us completely and the hotel coming through for us. Not only did the concierge book and organize our day tours, they also packed up towels for us for they day. The only thing I would avoid here is the gift shop. Overpriced and poor quality products. The beach bag I bought didn't last more than two days.

My family and I LOVED our stay and the Henann Beach Resort. The resort itself is gorgeous, the workers are friendly and helpful at all times. THE FOOD at their buffet near the beach is amazing! They have three different pools, one in front of the hotel rooms, another one near the buffet, you can guess which one I was swimming in, and another one near the beach. You could order food and drinks from the pool and they'll charge you by your room number. This place is definitely a great getaway!

Best place and value for vacation in Bohol. Room was modern design, nice pools, & nice beach area. Best buffet I've had in long time with plenty of selections and kids enjoyed them.

Stayed here Jan 2015. We loved it. New resort. Beautiful property but it is a large property reminiscent of Riviera Maya resorts in Mexico. We upgraded to a premium room on the 5th floor for the ocean view. Well worth it for us. Big beautiful bathroom with waterfall shower and tub. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet included every morning. It has something for everyone - American favorites (bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc), Filipino breakfast, and others. Offers swim up bars and 2-for-1 happy hour. Can't say enough good things about Henann and Panglao/Alona Beach. We will be back!! Don't turn into Boracay!! We love Alona Beach!! The only criticism I have is slow wifi...and we had to constantly log back on. Annoying but nothing different than we experienced at other hotels. Still, please improve it :)

    Breathtaking

This is a great resort with super friendly staff. I spent New Year's here with my family and it was totally worth it. I would definitely come back.

I was weirded out by the booking process, which required submitting half the total cost of the stay via wire transfer or PayPal, which is something scammers do. Even more disturbing was that I messaged them via booking.com to accept that they recieved the deposit thru PayPal and they did not respond. In the US, this is discouraging for travelers since it is common practice to use credit cards since they are safer for the consumer. Luckily, it was not a scam and I was able to check in with no problem. It's worth noting that this property is cash only in every regard. They only accept cash, which means you need to bring a big wad of pesos with you. The bill on checkout is also paid via cash, as is the restaurant tab or any expenses you may incur. They should probably look into accepting at least Mastercard or Visa, since no credit card especially when reserving is a dealbreaker for cautious people. The resort is very small but very nice, with only a few bungalows. That meant we didn't really see many other guests for the duration of our stay. There is an onsite restaurant and a small but nice pool. There is a laundry service (3rd party, but handled by the property). They are also able to help you arrange tours and rides to and from the airport. They also rent motorbikes, if you are so inclined. I think the best way to describe this resort is, for private people who want to be left alone. The room itself was half of a duplex, with a nice bathroom and functional design. The air conditioner worked wonderfully, and I was able to have many nights of good sleep. The property itself is nicely maintained. We ate at the restaurant quite a bit, for breakfast and for dinner. The food is excellent quality and the prices are fair for the area. My only reservations about this property were that 1- It can be difficult to find, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. Even some drivers had no idea where it was (across the FilOil gas station). 2- It's at the end of a dirt road, and the road can be difficult to walk especially when it rains 3- The property has some strange rules, but they're obviously in place because some guests did something crazy and made a need for the rules. I personally had no problem with the rules, because I have common courtesy, but I can see some people getting offended by them. 4- Only handsoap and shampoo (had to ask) for toiletries. The only resort out of 5 I stayed in during my trip with incomplete amenities. The front desk person told me that they're having an issue with the vendor regarding it, so it was unavailable.

This resort was amazing and great for everyone!…read more I came here in February with the majority of my family. We were a group of 10, My Aunt, two cousins, my cousin's girl friend, My mom, my sister, my brother, my brother's fiancé, and my daughter and I. Despite our age gaps, we all enjoyed our time here! The ENTIRE staff was very welcoming and friendly! Our rooms were GORGEOUS... especially our bathroom which was partly outdoors. We had a beautiful tub and a rainforest shower head next to it. I LOOOOVE that they had a pool right in front of our room (and the bar) and that it was open late! After our adventure throughout Bohol, we had 4 hours until dinner (which was also at the resort). There were chairs between the pool and the bar so we left our stuff there while we played in the (huge) pool and went back to get snacks and drinks. For people who don't drink alcohol, their watermelon and mango shakes were AMAZING. Definitely a must have to sip on while sitting pool side. The snacks are also pretty good as well! We finally got to try qwek-qwek and we LOVED IT! What I loved about the pool was the middle section. There's a bridge that leads from one side of the resort to the other and in the middle of the bridge it leads down to the middle of the pool where they have chairs to it on (the water for this section goes above the ankle. My mom and aunt got to sit there and gossip while the rest of us were playing around in the pool with my daughter. We had Dinner and breakfast there and both were amazing. We didn't have enough time to get massages or check out the beach part of the resort. 10/10 would recommend staying here! I am definitely coming back next time I'm in Bohol!

There is natural light coming into bathroom and rock floor shower and jacuzzi bath tube. I always go for a bubble bath when they have this in the hotel rooms. Also great desk for office work. As for the team building they served us a lot of meals and food, had a great room to facilitate our team building exercises. Thank you! Everyone really enjoyed it! I found Panglao Regents Park , it was still pricey but compared to most resort in the area, it was the better alternative. The resort specifically stress that they are not a beach front resort, it takes about 10 minutes walk to reach the beach area which is fine with since it gets a little bit noisy near the beach at night. Rooms : Spacious enough. We booked the room in the main building with a pool view. The little boy who was with us was very happy to know that there is a pool right outside the room. Food/Drinks: Decent enough. My parents found it a little pricey so we usually eat outside. We did try some of their drinks and side dishes. Pinacolada definitely needs some more improvement. Staff : Very polite and friendly. The whole place is very well maintained. The rooms are cleaned everyday, so we get fresh sheets and towels. The water in the shower smells a little bit weird but nobody got any allergic reaction so it might just be the water treatment. Will I ever go there again ? Maybe. We spent 3 nights in the premium/large rooms and then due to the Typhoon had to extend by 1 night but had to move to the standard rooms. The premium room was large, lots of open area and had a larger bed, but the bathroom and overall room was more dated. We also had a patio with chairs and table, which was great for hanging suits out to dry. The standard room was cozier and did not have a balcony, but it was newly remodeled and the bathroom was much nicer. The restaurant was okay. The breakfast, which was included with our room, was great with multiple options and a huge list of fresh juices which was a great way to start the day each day. We also ate lunch here one day, and the food was okay, but I would recommend going into the main town area for lunch/dinner. Overall a decent choice for a place to stay on the water.

The salad was brought to me and was not a Caesar salad -- I thought it was a mistake at first, but when I looked at the menu, it didn't match any of the other salads that were listed. Everything from the incorrect ingredients and dry chicken made this a terrible salad. The crostini bread was supposed to be crunchy, but it wasn't even toasted, and the guacamole needed salt and pepper as there wasn't much flavor to it at all. When I finished my meal and asked for my check, the ladies who were working behind the empty bar didn't return with the check, so after waiting ten minutes, I walked up to the register and asked for my check. I definitely won't eat here again.

Each villa had high standard furnishings, and a terrace that leads to a lagoon. Our Grand Villa had two bedrooms, one with a king bed downstairs and two twin beds upstairs, each with a huge well-appointed bathrooms, and a large family room and a kitchenette complete with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, plates and utensils. Just as soon as we were settled in, after check-in, fresh juice in a real coconut along with a welcome platter of snacks was delivered to our respective villas. Snack plates were delivered to us every day. The entire resort is surrounded with lush vegetation, lots of flowers and remarkable landscaping. We had lunch at one of their five restaurants, this one with a cozy ambiance just a short walk from our villas with views of larger pools and the ocean. Lunch consisted of traditional Filipino dishes which were not only well presented but were delicious as expected of a top rated resort as well. The room service dinner we had was no different. We then explored the scenic white sand beach with a great view of the ocean. I actually spent some alone time in one of the many lounge chairs under the trees. Just like BE resort in Mactan, Cebu, the best feature of this resort are the tireless, friendliest, professional, helpful and most efficient people that worked there, specially the resort manager, Pearl Yang and staff member Uriel and others who we were lucky enough to be attended too, or who gave us a friendly hi. Thank you for pampering us!. We never had to wait long for anything we requested. I had high expectations when we planned this trip, and BE Grand resort not only surpassed all of them, we got more: we were treated like royalty!

Location and view are beautiful. No beach access as it is on the cliff. I had double bed room which…read morewas spacious, nice size closet, modern, clean bathroom. Pros: View Rooms - small refrigerators with drinks for purchase, 2 free bottles of water daily. Drying rack, personal umbrellas, seating area outside of each room, television with a few channels Service - extremely kind, attentive staff Location - 15 minutes from airport, close to tourist attractions Resident cat - clean, friendly, healthy and neutered Pool - sizable, cool bar area with poolside seating. Pool chairs with large umbrellas. Receives sun during most of day so it's a nice temperature at night. Security guard Price Cons: Minimal amenities - I was there was 2.5 days, I received one bathroom kit which included a toothbrush and paste and 2 q tips. Never got anymore kits. Received shampoo, no conditioner. Small, thin bar of soap. No lotion Food - sweet crepes were good as were the shakes and fresh juices. Savory food was too salty and oily. I ordered spinach crepe, the spinach and crepe were fine but there were way too many onions. I gave up after a while with ordering food, perhaps if you're unfamiliar with Asian food or are accustomed to eating out this will be fine. Bruschetta bread was cheap, dry and the tomatoes no taste with way too much garlic. The menu is extensive with some offers from every continent however leads me to think most of it is frozen and reheated. Many options were expensive all things considered. Few options for food. No grocery nearby unless you call for a driver and no outdoor cooking area. There's a grassy place where I think a grill or 2 would be nice. Loud AC, but this is common with window unit ACs in the Philippines Received one key (actual key as opposed to keycard), I might have been able to ask for another but didn't check. Anyway I think providing one key per person is more appropriate. Takeaway: I had an overall nice time but won't be returning. The location and venue are quite nice but not being able to properly bathe or eat made it difficult.

Our room was easily one of the best on the property, offering a breathtaking, sweeping view of the beach, ocean, pool, and parts of the courtyard garden--simply unforgettable. Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Recently enjoyed my stay at the Bellevue Resort for our recent family reunion…read more I remembered a much different Bohol when we would visit as kids growing up, but with the new airport on Panglao... it's super convenient to fly in and just a quick ride to this resort. Hotel has a gate (w/guard) but you can easily walk out and find local laundry services (other than what is offered at the hotel). There's also a small shopping center that is walking distance with a few restaurants and shops. Staff and service were fantastic as everyone is super friendly and they almost seem to go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and are enjoying your stay. The infinity pool is fantastic (for kids and adults)..... nice to also have the beach option but this part of the island is more remote... as the other reviews state, you can find better beaches at other resorts, but here it is more quiet and family oriented. Breakfast Buffet was superb with a rotation of offerings for vegetarians and omnivores alike. Special request items (eggs cooked to order, etc.) are just an ask away.
