The agent scheduling the appointment lied through her teeth, I made it very clear that I was not willing to sign any type of paperwork, allowing them to either be a buyers or a sellers agent. When the agent came here, it was clear they are nothing more than a wholesaler and they are just looking for a listing and they want to tie up your property and then turn around and find an investor to give you a lowball offer. Less than half of the value. Stay away from these scam artist, I'm going to almost guarantee that all the reviews that are positive are bought and fake reviews.

The offers were low so I was convinced to list my house with them. The first agent was slow to at getting paper work to sign when it came to changing my list price. So I got another agent. The next agent was awful and tried to push me in a deal where I kept my mortgage and the buyer would make payments to the mortgage company. I would be on the hook if the buyer failed to pay the mortgage which had 25 years left on it. She just wanted that commission and don't care about my risk. After spending lots of money and effort to make my house marketable based on showing feedback, the agent ask me to delist the house and claimed I am taking time from her with taking care of her other clients. I agreed just to make her happy. It took her 4 days to send the delisting paperwork to sign. I got the vibe that this company is about making money and don't care about the customers. Based on other reviews they may respond to this with some BS. However their rebuttal, will be trash. They seem to get bad reviews after bad

He is very attentive, responded quickly to all of my questions, and maintained a positive and professional attitude throughout the selling process. But i was extremely disappointed toward the finish . i did quick sale where you get certain amount at beginning and if they sale your house within 90 days you will get other portion. i was not given any updates during this process . No call about the status of my home on market . Not even a call to say your home sold . My house was sold but no further financial proceed was awarded to me . I really needed money to go towards down payment for another home . Unfortunately i gambled and lost . The downfall is they have 90 days . I sold my home in August but my house was not posted until October . Even during this time communication ceased . so during my 90 days approximately 30 days my house sat. i feel time frame with sale was not available full 90 days to get the extra money . oh well overall i took a lost i would say use your best judgement. This may work for some is just didn't work out for me .

    I estimate I lost about $25,000 by deciding to have Muse manage my rental property. Over the six…read moreyears I was with them, all three of the tenants they had supposedly vetted, simply stopped paying and/or trashed my house. After realizing in year three how much money I'd lost up until that point (only $11,000 then), I tried to fire them, only to learn that, due to shady contract language, I had to boot out the current tenant in order to get rid of Muse also. Knowing what I know now, I should have kicked them all to the curb then. Instead, my losses were as follows: 1) The first renter just quit paying. It took two months to get him out so, after the deposit, I lost a month's worth of rent that Muse said they sent to Collections but is now too old to get back (around $1,300). 2) My second tenant started having problems paying and, by the time they got her out, they told me she had caused damages totaling around $6,000 - half of which Muse forced me to pay for. Muse also threw away the washer and dryer the renter had broken even though both appliances were covered under warranty and could have been replaced for free, adding another roughly $1,700 in irretrievable losses. 3) After booting the second tenant, I realized Muse had not been increasing rent with every lease renewal as they should have been. At this point, that came to a little over another $5,000 in losses. 3) My third (and final) tenant wrecked my house, leaving behind $14,000 worth of damage. Some of this included such simple things as never replacing the air filters (which meant I had to replace all the ductwork) - something Muse was supposed to be checking for during every six month inspection. I should have walked away on day one when Tami accused me of leaving poop in one of the toilets during the first showing. My mom and I had spent 13 hours the day before making it spotless. Turns out Tami hadn't bothered to check, nor to notify me, that they were letting people into my house, unsupervised, and that one of the potential renters had decided to use the facilities. Things like that have had me working on this review for the entire six years I was with Muse as it was the only thing I felt I had any real control over. I will say that Deborah and Ke'Arah did consistently respond and always made me feel like a valued customer. Everyone else however, bullied me, refused to take responsibility for blatantly obvious errors, or simply ignored me when they didn't feel like responding. The one good thing to come from Muse Realty's continual decline in service over the years was that it forced me to look for another agency. I'm happy to report that I found one that is actually competent and keeps me in the loop. I strongly recommend others look elsewhere as well. Your pocketbook and your sanity will thank you.

    Before we bought a condo unit in Rock Hill, SC, I contacted the FCPM Property Manager, Jeff…read moreWilliamson, about repair responsibilities regarding the unit...HOA/Property Management or Homeowner? Jeff responded, in a documented email, to the pre-purchase inspection report that key items were the responsibility of the HOA/FCPM so we went ahead and purchased the unit. It's been two (2) years of emails w/FCPM, and primarily Jeff, without the repairs taking place. The two (2) major issues were caused, and continue to be accelerated, by poor prior property management maintenance. Communication from FCPM has been dismal. I have all the ticket numbers, emails and phone calls documented to which Jeff vaguely replied or ignored. So, we have to now take the legal route. If I could give them a "0" star rating, I would without hesitation.

I own a condo they claim to manage but all they do it collect checks and ignore residents when they have a problem. I've had 3 leaks from the lady upstairs in the last 6 years. The quickest they ever fixed it was in 4 days. I have one going on now that took 3 maintenance request over 26 hours just to get somebody to acknowledge it. Has it been fixed? God no! The service company reached out after the third request, but said they will have to arrange a schedule with the other lady, who has a history of not caring about anything, and it might be several more days. Jeff is the most gutless, do nothing, hide in his office behind a keyboard person in the business. If you go to his office he's always in a meeting, but if you say you will wait somehow the meeting is over. He will never answer the phone or call you back. He is strictly email only. At some point you have do your job, and just be a man. If you are buying or renting and see them as the property management company, find anywhere else to go.
