During the tasting, he kept emphasizing "execution" like that would be the star of the show--well, it wasn't. The chicken, which was supposed to be stuffed, came with a sauce on top--something he never cleared with us. The rolls, which were injected with delicious honey butter at the tasting, were served as generic rolls, and the green beans were hard as hell. When I addressed the issues, he was very "blah" about it in my opinion.. He said "everybody else liked it," and even mentioned getting compliments from guests. Um... MY FAMILY for my husband and I paid $3,750, not the wedding guests, and that doesn't make up for the disappointment. So guess who should've been satisfied? I didn't think that took a rocket science to figure out. He also admitted that because he did it at a discounted price, he didn't execute it like he wanted. It was our wedding, not a trial run (had that chance at the tasting), and pricing concerns should have been addressed at the tasting. A solution was offered afterward--come to his home to cook for my husband and I--but it couldn't undo the fact that our wedding meal was ruined. Paying for "professional" service should mean your expectations are met--and in this case, they were not. I cannot recommend this chef if you actually want the food you were promised on your big day.
