I was rear ended in Aug of 24, I decided to go to Henness and Haight as I'd heard some good things. The first time I walked in I felt very comfortable and welcome. My attorney was Kjell and his assistant was Alexis. I couldn't have chosen a better place to handle my claim. I was hurt in the accident and had quite a few medical problems. I was assured that my case would be handled with care and they really came through; I want to add a personal note that was very touching. My mother passed away about two weeks after my accident; when I made them aware of that happening (and I was injured enough that I couldn't even attend her service, as it was across country), they were so kind and personable that one day I received a knock at the door and they had sent me the most beautiful flower arrangement with their sympathy, which really was touching. My son was hit by a car back in March 2022 on the way home from school. I had to deal with Rosie and Shaun. They knew from the beginning that he wouldn't receive any money until he was 18. Instead of informing me of this pretty important fact, they told me to pay all of the medical bills and I would be reimbursed. They finally told me about this two months later. All of my time missed at work, all of the money I paid for insurance and rent on an apartment I couldn't live in for almost 3 months because some lady thought my son was no better than a Walmart shopping cart which I learned from the police report I had to obtain myself. And the insurance company got paid from the settlement in addition to what I paid them. The attorneys also got money and my son will end up with about $400 more than they did. If they would have informed me of this from the beginning I would have never signed anything. I did most of my divorce on my own so even if I had ended up only getting half of the $25000 this lady who hit him had it would have been much more than he ended up getting. They knew exactly what they were doing which was taking advantage of someone whose child was seriously injured and we're the only ones who suffered. If you ever have the misfortune of having to deal with a lawyer, don't make things worse by dealing with this firm because they'll be sure to take advantage of you when you're at your lowest.
