After reading about paint shelf life on the Internets, it never occurred to me to ask if i could just use this 13 year old paint. But Mark checked it, scraped off some dried stuff from inside the can, shook it up, dried a test piece, and pronounced it good to use. Including the stir stick Mark threw in, my visit cost them money. But they've earned a customer for life. Thats how to do customer service!

I took my vacuum in for repairs, first thing Joe told me was "I have a better vacuum than that and…read moresmaller if we can't fix this one". The power head of my Electrolux quit working gradually, I thought it was in the elbow into the power head turns out I was right after she checked everything else. They said they could order a part and fix it for me . About a week later I go get my vacuum and it works for about 7-8 months then gradually stopped working just like before. I figured I couldn't hurt it so I took it apart found the problem, wire connection in the elbow to head the part that should be new. The protective stuff around wires was all frayed, scuffs all over the part it is NOT a new part. I took the part and paperwork in to the store and talk to them. They show me the invoice for the new part and I'm told "I believe my worker". Then he says "we always send the old part with the customer, where is that? I told him I wasn't given an old part just my vacuum and the bill for $104.95 parts and labor. I was ripped off , charged for a new part and installation and all they did was reattach old wire which didn't hold. I will never use or recommend The Electric Hospital again..

Great service here and knowledgeable staff. Staff person checked Miele vacuum cleaner on the spot…read more Realigned cover and got machine working while I observed and charged me nothing. The problem? I had replaced the vacuum bag with a Miele knockoff. Not a good choice on my part as the lid to the Miele jammed initially and the machine would no longer start. Even when the lid was realigned, the hose would not click into place. Staff also bandaged up a cut on my hand which I acquired when, at my car, I removed the knockoff bag. After the first aide, I purchased genuine Miele bags. Comparing the genuine article with the knockoff, it is apparent why the knockoff was so capable of doing damage to me and my machine. Whether you're having bottled water delivered to your home, or whether you're setting up a fundraising dinner for a worthy cause... Vend West will nearly always be in the picture somewhere. They happily donate as they can, and do business with a warm smile and friendly spirit. Though I've opted to buy filters for my over-priced refrigerator in lieu of the over-priced bottles of delivered water, I admit I miss my cold/hot water taps, and the sweet taste of Earth2O. There's just something in the water. :) Now this is where I highly recommend doing business locally! It would be kind if Vend West would consider their customer's may not wish to locate their own envelopes and fill out the cover every time they wish to pay the bill. C'mon guys... change up the billing system. The services cost plenty to cover such an implementation of updating your system. In other words... it's 2011. If you're going to charge premium prices, then at a minimum send your clientele an easier way to pay for it. Thanks though... for years of good service, and always a wonderful community attitude.

I try to keep my comments on yelp to reviews of services and products, so this is a bit of a…read morestrange review. About three months ago, I slept in my glasses, and when I was in the building for an eye exam, I stopped by Bay optical to see if they could bend the frames back into shape. They took my glasses into the back, and about 15 minutes later returned them to me bent back into shape. A couple of days later, I noticed that my eyes were always blurry, and I was starting to get headaches. I thought at first it was the after effects of when they dilated my eye for my appointment, but my vision never got better. I tried changing the size of the screens I was using, I went to my GP to make sure I didn't Have diabetes, and I watched the pollen count closely to make sure that it wasn't allergies, but the vision problem remained. Yesterday, I saw a new eye doctor in Eugene. When they checked my old lenses, they were surprised to find that the lenses in my glasses were in the wrong sides of the frame. . They switched them back and my vision immediately went back to what it was before I let Bay Optical work on my frames Now, I can't prove that Bay optical switched the lenses when they worked on my frames, but they are the only ones who have touched my frames other than me. My only conclusion is either Bay optical was sloppy, or I am the butt of some cosmic-level joke. Just sayin.

This past evening we almost got locked out of our RV when the entry door lock malfunctione. So, this morning I drove over to Tom's lock & key and was at their shop when they opened at 9am. After explaining my situation they followed me back to Baypoint Landing, a 10 minute drive from their shop, and they carefully removed the inside access panel from my entry door to the RV and adjusted the connected mechanism so that the door works properly. They were courteous and polite and spent an hour on the repair and the total cost for the service call including the labor to adjust the entry lock was $245.50.
