They are rude I when in there to buy a chain the cashier says we're closing in five minutes I said I'll be real quick. The next thing I know there 2 dudes with attitudes going escort me out well I already had picked out my merchandise and was heading out.Every time I go in there seams like they ignore you unless it's closing time. I'm in love with this place. I can do some damage here. They have everything from gardening supplies, to farming needs to canning to pets supplies to, large equipment to home improvement to camping and sports equipment to great western and outdoor clothing. I spend hours there. People are friendly and I think the prices are a little higher than say a Home Depot but they carry quality stuff and I don't mind paying a bit more for the better stock and selection. I wish we had one closer to home or maybe not... I'd be broke. Ha ha can't wait to go that way again and spend hours there finding new things I didn't know I needed! read more

Went in for dog treats. They had doggie candy bars. The large signs said "IN STORE ADDED SAVINGS $1.99". After lifting the sign to see how much we were saving, the normal price said "$1.29". We took it to the register to verify the price and it was indeed $1.99. Wow. A rip off of .70. Can anyone tell me how that was a special?? 5 people up front gossiping and laughing. Having a good time while the 3 customers in the store couldn't find anyone to help them. read more

11/29/2019. Dropped in cause Cascade was an authorized dealer for BBQs. Walked inside this former KMart store and was amazed at how much was there. This is a massive superstore catering to camping, animals, outdoors, etc. I found my perfect Pellet BBQ at a $200.00 discount. (Couldn't beat the price anywhere) plus a free set of BBQ tools. Requested help in getting one from the back. Brought up within 5 minutes and the helped load it into my Tesla Model X with a smile. Locals are fortunate to have this store in Coos Bay. Nice job!!! read more

Cascade is owned by Bi-Mart, so in terms of prices, don't expect Cascade and Bi-Mart to be too different. However, this store is much nicer than C-A-L Ranch and Tractor Supply stores, and is probably closer to a Big R or Coastal (yes, same company in Oregon's case with the exception of Burns). The store looks somewhat like Kmart in that the clothing section is in the same place it was with them, with sporting goods and automotive up front. However, the clothing area is much larger than any Bi-Mart could dream of. Their prices were extremely competitive, and were cheaper than Home Depot, C-A-L Ranch or Tractor Supply in most cases. Only thing weird was the hardware area - I think most Bi-Marts had a larger selection. However, for Coos Bay, this was an excellent addition. read more

I was rather disappointed. I bought a couple of chicks. When I got home 30 minutes later they didn't look so good. One was laying on its side and wouldn't move. So I called. The girl I spoke to on the phone said I should've gone straight home after buying them. I informed her that's exactly what I did. Then she said if you aren't happy with them bring them back. I got mad at her at this point showing no concern about the little lives hanging by a thread. I told her I was going to fight for their lives not put them at higher risk by driving them all around without their essential needs met. She was stupid and she should NOT work with live animals ever. read more

Man, it's about time the Bay Area got a store like this. Very nice re-use of the dingy old K-Mart. They may not have the lowest prices around, but they seem to have just about everything you'd need for the Outdoor Life: -Stuff for your critters large and small. -Stuff to kill, butcher, cook, and preserve fish and game. -Stuff for the yard. -Hardware and tools to fix what you done shot up. -Stuff to wear while your doing all that stuff. The quality seems good with brands like Danner, DeWalt, Georgia, Poulan, Carhartt, Husqvarna, Justin, Winchester, Columbia, etc. The staff seems nice enough, and there are plenty of them if you need help. Think of it as a kind of mini-Cabela's, but without the long drive to Eugene. Go on, check it out. Now. They close early, darn it! Like at 7pm! 6pm on Sundays! Got to git back home to milk the cows and slop the hogs! read more

I went to buy a unit of cattle fencing and the price was great and the gentlemen that loaded it for me are awesome. Very very helpful and caring. They took their time and made sure the loaded it without incident. Oh and did I say they did all of this in the pouring down rain. Wasn't when we started. Walla Walla is still in Phase 1 of Stay-At-Home. I needed dog food. When I first walked into the store nobody was counting customers for entry, nobody was wearing mask but me, another customer and one employee. Nobody was social distancing. I decided to hurry and grab and go. I knew I wasn't safe under CDC standards. No social distancing in the checkout line and no cashiers with masks. I asked the people behind me to give more space but they got closer. Three floor tile squares away from each other. No hand sanitizer. Not clean. I decided to talk to management and let them know how unsafe it was. They didn't care and said they don't believe in it do they won't encourage masks or social distancing. I warned all of my friends to be safe and not go there. Especially those with compromised immune systems. read more

I have been shopping here since day 1. They have the best staff a person could ask for, prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. I shop in most of the departments and have almost always found what I'm looking for. Sometimes they were the only source I could find locally. Prices are as good as any place in town that carry the same products. I am glad they are here! read more

I went into the new Keizer location yesterday to look for a couple of items that we needed for one of our jobs. I own a landscaping company and was quite excited to know there was finally a store that had shovels and rakes another landscaping tools in Keizer. Yesterday I went in to buy two hula hoes andtwo brute trash cans. They did not carry the Hula hoes, but I did find the trash cans. They were eight dollars more than Home Depot I was OK paying that for convenience. But then the unspeakable happened. They are selling the trashcan lids separately. That's right $11 for a trashcan lid. I buy these all the time.Every single store that sells these trash cans gives you the lid for free. I even asked to employees if this was true. Their response was yes I can't believe were selling them either. They should just come with the actual trashcan. I will not be shopping here anymore I understand you have to make a profit. But there's a line between making a profit and taking adavange of people. read more
