In this small town, there is no repair on cars on Sunday. I did learn too late (two weeks later too late) that there's a Sears Auto open on the weekends in Hermitage and New Castle I broke down on Sunday on a drive from Cleveland to Philly. We had our front-left headlamp and cover replaced after a crash. The mechanic did not install the cover correctly, and water leaked in and pooled in the headlight. When we called Henricks, they denied responsibility, blaming the leak on the manufacturer. They then wanted to charge us more to repair the damage that their mechanic had caused. Furthermore, they were rude and demeaning to my teenage brother when he called them to confront them about the situation (he is not at all the rude type, so it was completely unjustified). This kind of behavior does seem somewhat typical of this industry, so that in of itself was not worth a one star, but was the kicker. My car broke down on 79 north and after calling Triple AAA, Henricks towed my car to their auto shop and took shortcuts to minimize any potential charges for extra mileage. They were able to fix 2 belts and an alternator within the day and had me on my way. They offered rides, food, solar ecplises glasses anything they could provide to help make the best of a bad situation. They are honorable, fair, and some of the friendliest people you can deal with. We blew a tire on a Monday morning just seven miles out of Grove City. Mom with kid and dog in the car. I called Henricks and asked for help. The office assistant said he'd call a guy who was already out on a call but it might be 30-40 mins. The mechanic did show up in 40 mins., and although he didn't have his big truck bec. the first call didn't require it, he did a fine job changing the tire to a spare, helping me decide to keep the rim and put it in the back, and checking the other tires. Mechanic was calm, friendly, professional. There was nowhere in town to get a tire for a Subaru, so we continued on to Rochester. read more

I have had good experiences with them in the past. Friendly service etc. But recently took my vehicle in to have it inspected and a oil change. Inspection price was normal, EXCEPT FOR THE $6 STICKER PRICE.. Oil Change was horrible!! Instead of charging one set price for the service, it was broken down to $10 per quart of oil. (I had 6 quarts) and $15 for oil filter. Then on top of everything there was sales tax. Sounds like I got Super Supreme Gold Oil Change that I never expected or asked for. (my car is 9 years old) I guess I'll be going elsewhere from now on. Its a horrible feeling to feel like you've been taken. read more
