As we got closer to the area, I started to feel what I can only describe as a shift in the front wheels when I hit a bump and occasionally when I made a turn. I had also heard a clicking sound maybe 6 or 7 times in over the last week or so when making a left turn. Since we have to head back soon, I wanted to make sure that our car would be safe to drive home. I'm no mechanic, so I started fearing the worst and thinking I'd need a very expensive repair. I called Whetzel because the reviews were so good. I made the call about 15 minutes before closing and Warren told me to bring the car in the next morning when they open at 8am so that he could order any needed parts and get us safely on the road the following day. He got the car up on the lift and found that it was a fairly simple repair (loose bolt). He did a wheel alignment and rotated the tires and I was on my way in about an hour. Could not be more grateful to Warren and the fine folks at Whetzel who fit my car into a busy schedule and made sure it would be safe to make the long drive home. When you're a car owner, it's important to have a trusted mechanic. Having something happen while on the road is scary because you take a risk taking your car to a mechanic you don't know. Get a call on Monday and was told it needed some parts and it will take a few days, so we asked if we can have a loaner vehicle because my wife has to have a vehicle for work. Was told they will call us back. A little later they call and say they got the parts and it will be done by the end of day. We were happy because we would have the car back for work. Then we get a call say they ran into some issues and the car wouldn't be done, but it would be done Tuesday morning. I understand things happen so we said that was fine Tuesday morning comes and we get a call that they were having some issues and the car wouldn't be done until the end of day Tuesday. This was no big deal we would swing by after work to get it when it's done. Well guess what the end of the day comes and we get a call from the dealership that oh they found another issue and now but they were going to get the parts needed and it will be done first thing Wednesday. So now my wife has been out of a car for three days that she needs in order to go to work. At this point we are here well what's one more day right. Well guess what didn't hear from them by noon so I call the dealership to check on the status of the car and was told oh sorry we didn't get the part, it should be here first thing in the morning. At this point I was getting mad because this is going to be the fourth day my wife is without a car for work so I ask to speak to a supervisor. Was told oh sorry they just went into a meeting and they would give them a message to call me when they get out. Guess what never got that call from the manager. Well today is Thursday and we finally get the car back 4 days and $3500 later. Well the issue we took it in there for was a metal scraping sound while drive, and guess what the vehicle still has the sound... call the dealership mad because the main reason we took the vehicle up there for was not fixed. This is the second time we have taken our vehicle to this dealership and the work that was supposed to be done didn't get done correctly or at all. As I said in the beginning one of the worst service I have ever had to deal with. My opinion is do not go to this dealership unless you want work half done/ incorrect, or you want to pay thousands of dollars and still have the same issue.
