The point is that I was actually informed about my own body & had information about myself to take away from the consult (all for $30 less than a full consultation @ Jefferson)--- at Jeff Chiro I just expressed my pain points, told them I was the kind of person who wanted a brief understanding of what they we're doing to my body, instructed through a 5 min assessment of movements, shown what the adjustments would feel like, and then told to lie on the table to get started. And even though I was uncomfortable with moving forward with any adjustments, I was still charged for the exam that gave me absolute no education. I've been going to the correct practice which has a similar name and I've felt 1000% better with only 4 visits after being in terrible pain and trouble walking. last visit to Active Family Wellness I expressed that I was in pain and I mentioned to the office manager that I was in too much pain and I wanted to skip the tense pressure before the adjustment and I was told "You have to do it". which was so painful it brought me to tears and I didn't feel any better. Additional I was made to sign paperwork agreeing to pay a detailed breakdown of the when I have health insurance which I was completely caught of guard by. With any movement I was in excruciating pain. It was the type of pain you just want to scream and are so helpless. I was so lucky to be squeezed in today (on New Years Eve) by Dr. Su. My experienced with Dr. Su was like no other chiropractic experience I've had before. He intertwines his extensive education with Chinese medicine. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous…read more The doctor takes the time to explain everything during your appointment so you know what is going on and why certain things are being done. You walk away feeling like you've found a chiropractor that will be there for you. The massage therapist is also good and very knowledgeable about what is going on and why -- and does an excellent job at finding and working on the problem spots. I wish they had Saturday hours once or twice a month, but maybe they don't have a demand for that now.
