With any movement I was in excruciating pain. It was the type of pain you just want to scream and are so helpless. I was so lucky to be squeezed in today (on New Years Eve) by Dr. Su. My experienced with Dr. Su was like no other chiropractic experience I've had before. He intertwines his extensive education with Chinese medicine. I was able to actually move my neck when he was done with me. I trusted him and his techniques involving scraping, needling and cupping. I literally thought I was going to walk in and get the basic adjustment, but he really took it to the next level with his techniques and knowledge on pain. To top it all off, he was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. It's so hard to find any Dr. like Him. He educated me on ways to strengthen my back and posture in kind and informative ways. He didn't just say "go work out". It's been almost 10 hours since my visit and I am already able to move without sharp pains, and feel 10 times better than when I walked in. He's magic! But I've been to a chiropractor before I moved to Shepherdstown, WV and had a much more elaborate, empowering, and educational consult than I did at Jefferson Chiro: I was actually taught about the subluxations in our spine, told how the doctor planned on using certain adjustments to help certain concerns, and I was scanned/ given thermal and EMG imaging of my own back. The point is that I was actually informed about my own body & had information about myself to take away from the consult (all for $30 less than a full consultation @ Jefferson)--- at Jeff Chiro I just expressed my pain points, told them I was the kind of person who wanted a brief understanding of what they we're doing to my body, instructed through a 5 min assessment of movements, shown what the adjustments would feel like, and then told to lie on the table to get started. And even though I was uncomfortable with moving forward with any adjustments, I was still charged for the exam that gave me absolute no education. I paid $90 for a doctor to exam me, tell me nothing about what he observed, and expected to eventually feel comfortable coming back?

I always enjoy working with her and find I learn something new every time. Chiros like any other body worker have their own unique touch. Dr. D is muscular, with an athletic build, but a gentle touch. His set up is very accurate for me and it takes little force by him to move things where they need to go, where I have had others unable to do so.
