Also didn't do an examination of my skin, only looked at my head where she spent about 30 seconds freezing off a few things she "didn't like". Total time for my "exam and treatment", no more than 2 minutes. The big surprise was the statement I received from my insurance company. Billed $319.00, insurance settled for $179 and change. What a ripoff, and I still need to find a real dermatologist. Stay away!

From my very first phone call, consultation, follow-up emails, video calls, and scheduling, every single person has been attentive, efficient, kind, and incredibly responsive. Dr. Tom has surrounded himself with an amazing team. I never once felt forgotten, hurried, or like my questions were a bother. I had a conscious sedation, or "awake," tummy tuck with liposuction to my abdomen and flanks. Because we live out of the area, I had several calls and video visits with the office before surgery. By the time I arrived, I felt completely relaxed and well informed. My questions had been answered, my labs were complete, and I already had my medications in hand. The entire process was incredibly organized. Surgery day could not have gone more smoothly. I had no complications or complaints and was completely comfortable. I actually napped on and off throughout the procedure! The entire surgical team made me feel safe, relaxed, and very well cared for. The post-op care has been just as impressive. Dr. Tom personally stayed in contact with both my husband and me the day of surgery and the following day, and we were given his personal cell phone number in case we had any concerns or urgent needs. On my second night post-op, I developed a mild fever of 100.9°. My husband called Dr. Tom at 8:30 that evening, and he answered his cell phone immediately. He was incredibly kind and reassuring, talked us through what was happening, and gave us advice on what to do. Thankfully, everything was fine and it was simply my body reacting to everything it had been through. Dr. Tom then called the next morning to check on me and offered to have me come into the office if I wanted to be seen. That experience really drove home that when he gives you his personal number and tells you to call if you need him, he means it. I'm now post-op day five and am still receiving a daily text checking on my progress. That level of care means so much. And the results... WOW. I know I'm only five days post-op and several months away from seeing my final result, but I already could not be happier. I can see beautiful definition in my waist and a flat stomach, even this early in the healing process. For anyone wondering about my starting point, I'm 5'2", was 124 pounds going into surgery, and would consider myself to have an athletic build. My trouble areas have always been my "mom pouch" and love handles, where I tended to carry any extra weight. At 46 years young, I finally decided to do this as a gift to myself. I had wanted a tummy tuck for the better part of 15 years. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. I suggested wet cotton swabs and little goggles as having this go into your eyes is dangerous. I sent my my mom there as well and she did not stop talking about very personal matters. She said they couldn't set the appointment because my doctor didn't include my test results. I said did you ask her for them? She said, no, that's something you would need to do. I then said, how am I to do that if you never let me know it was missing. She "well I'm telling you now". I said the referral was placed two weeks ago. No apologies, no empathy, she curtly, we have 60 referrals right now. Well, I guess I'll just just have to go ask for another referral and they can tell me I have cervical cancer. It's absurd.
