During my first visit, I was told I had 3 cavities and was strongly encouraged to schedule fillings for the very next day. This immediately raised concerns as I've only had one cavity in 30 years and have always kept up with regular cleanings. I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist who confirmed there were absolutely no cavities or even areas of concern. While the office itself is clean and modern, and the front desk staff and hygienists were friendly, I would urge anyone visiting this practice to be cautious and consider getting a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Plaza Midwood Dentistry and Dr. Hart, hygienists/techs like Weslynn, as well as their front office. I came in looking like a gremlin honestly, my teeth were in terrible shape. They worked out a plan to focus on the cavities first, then crowns and implants, but I wasn't expecting the huge difference, even with the temporary cosmetic stuff they did (I'm not a dentist so I don't know the right name for it). After my last appointment, I cried when I looked in the mirror and asked for a hug. Went home and cried some more because I was so happy. Sent pictures to my best friends and family. People who see me and know me comment on my smile all the time. They are some of the most caring and understanding people in the business. I've been to many dentists and oral surgeons after my childhood dentist retired. These folks are by far my favorite. We still have a ways to go to get all the work done, but I will always be so appreciative of how hard they work and how well they do it. Heck, I even get blankets and my hand held when I'm being a wuss during a procedure! I'd definitely recommend.

When speaking to others to get an appointment it was impossible but this company made it possible... Dr. Bryson explained the procedure, he explained what he was about to do before he did it, and how it would feel. After a few minutes, I started feeling much better and just went with the flow. He is very gentle, very polite, and extremely knowledgeable. I had my procedure before a holiday, and they made sure I was okay and gave me numbers just in case something went wrong. I started going to Dr. Farley about 15 years ago after a bad experience at another area dentist. It…read moretook Dr Farley and 2 surgeries at an oral surgeon to correct my teeth from an overly large crown that the previous dentist gave me. So I have spent a LOT of time in Dr. Farley's chair getting work done and he is fantastic. The issue with the overly large crown and the resulting problems it caused was corrected and thankfully everything is good now. I also had more cavities than normal for a while. (Maybe from growing up on well water and not fluoridated water?) Through all of it, Dr Farley was really patient. He took the time to explain everything and make sure that I was as comfortable as possible during procedures and called me the morning after we had to do some more intensive work just to make sure I was doing ok that next day. After a number of cavities, he recommended fluoride treatments with each cleaning and I have done that and been cavity free for years. Oh yeah and I am afraid of needles. Dr. Farley was great about going slowly with novacaine injections and that I was good and numb with whatever they rubbed on my gums before giving the injection. One thing that I love is that they can make crowns right there and you are not having to deal with getting a temporary crown until the real one arrives. He's picky about them being perfect and that is what you want in a dentist!! I can't imagine going anywhere else and hope that I never have to. I'm very thankful to have found Dr Farley. And a shout out to the rest of his great staff who treat you like family. Kelli & Misty are fantastic too! The location is VERY convenient to uptown and they have the best selection of magazines in the waiting room of any doctor that I've ever had but they are so efficient about getting you right back that I never get a chance to read their magazines!! If you have to wait while someone else is having work done, you will get to enjoy them and the drinks in the waiting area.
