Joel was exceptional in helping me get exactly what I need-- very helpful, knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humor. He made me comfortable with the shopping and selecting process right away! One thing I noticed was that of the 2 sales reps, he was the one carrying the workload. With the steady flow of customers into the store, Joel kept excusing himself to help each person. We purchased rather high end bathroom faucets from Henry's when we built our home almost twenty years ago. In recent months the hot water valves began to leak a bit around their bases. Our plumber felt that the best course of action was to replace all four of our faucets with new ones. His feeling was that the high mineral count in our local water would just make the matter worse. We went to Henry's with the intent to purchase all four faucet units. The price approached $3000 for quality faucets. When one of their plumbing sales people heard our story, he suggested just replacing the hot water cartridge and demonstrated the ease of doing so. He suggested we call the plumber back or get a new plumber who should simply replace the hot water cartridges. We contacted our plumber and asked that he try the replacement cartridges first in hopes that it will do the trick. He agreed to do so but felt that the heavy mineral content me have caused the connecting surfaces to become rough and compromise the new cartridges. We decided to take the chance in light of the cost of all new faucets. If it doesn't work out, we will certainly return to Henry's for the four faucet units. I appreciate their honesty. read more

Only came here once, well technically twice, 30 minutes apart. I knew exactly what I needed and the gentleman at the register was able to give it to me right away. Unfortunately I was 1/4" short on the water supply line so I went back for a 14", but they only carry 16". I was able to return the 12" for a 16" with no issues. Do not bother going here unless you are a plumber. You will be treated like crap, unless you know industry terms or short names for parts. Prices are good and they might have what you need. There are only one or two older staff members that will treat you like you matter. They will not huff and puff and give an attitude. If you are an outsider/commoner, the younger staff are the ones to stay away from. Only younger staff member that is nice and in a good mood is the darker skinned male. Other supply houses aren't this "clique" type, ie if you're in the industry, then you are okay. Other supply houses I've been to, staff will be willing to work with you. I tried to get a part for a customer that has not had heat in two weeks. As I am not in the local area I asked to have the part shipped overnight to help the customer. I gave all of my credit card info as well as other info that they asked for. It did not get shipped the next day due to me not having service and they had a question. I answered and asked to be sent the next day. They Have now refused to send it to me because they tried to call me again to get approval for the overnight shipping that I had approved twice before. Owner is very rude on the phone and has cost himself a bit of $ and has caused a person to potentially be without heat until January if the part cannot be located elsewhere. read more

My husband was having a hard time tracking down a part for our kitchen faucet. I called Henry's and the person I spoke to went out of his way to tell me that he would double check to make sure they had it so we didn't drive all the way there for nothing. I was so grateful at the time because we'd been burned before. He assured me they had it, so my husband drove there (taking time off of work). THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PART, claiming it was some kind of miscommunication, which sounds like either BS or just utter incompetence to me. Take your business elsewhere! Had a Bradford White hot water heater installed in December. It was discovered it was a bad unit leaking from the top. Henry's plumbing supply charges $135 to replace a unit that is brand new under warranty. I contacted Bradford White directly and they indicated to me that is this is not their policy and is being done by their wholesaler. The unit comes with a 6-year warranty. Besides initially paying $100 extra for the unit over the big box stores now I had to encumber the cost of another $135.00 plus tax to have a brand new unit replaced. There was Steve at the counter, he was patient, caring, helpful and knowledgeable. Not only did he walk me through how to change it, but when I got stuck at home with a question he allowed me to send him a photo and he responded immediately. I can't thank him enough. Was treated like I was doing the store a disservice by asking to buy a part. Staff seemed to care less about helping anyone that was not working within the plumbing industry. Previous comments about this place are spot on when it comes to a lack of service and disgust for non plumbers looking to buy parts. I've never been to Henry's and probably never will. I went there this past Saturday after driving 35 minutes and moving my day around to get there during there business hours only to be greeted with lights out and doors locked. Not a sign on the door about anything, just locked up. BUT on their website, Saturday hours are listed as 7am til Noon. When I called today (Monday) to complain, the receptionist ( I have no complaint with her she was not the problem) said they close on Saturdays in the summer so their employees can have more time with their families. That's wonderful, but what about your customers? She took my name and number and said she would tell Henry and he would probably call. I have to doubt it. Try updating your website. It's rude and inconsiderate. They should get NO STARS. read more
