Unfortunately I cannot give more than 3 stars because my first patient exam (the one that usually involves a longer intake, thus is more expensive) lasted 15 minutes including adjustments. As someone who appreciates great customer service, I wanted to take the time to recognize the awesome service and customer care I have been given at Heppner Chiropractic. I was referred to this place of business and am so grateful for the referral (Thanks Lindsay!). Dr. Heppner and Dr. Harger are personable, professional, and have a genuine concern for me as an individual. The packet provided for my diagnosis was informative, easy to understand, and provided me a pathway for healing and optimum health going forward. The receptionists have all been super polite, friendly, efficient, and FUN! Thanks for your service, it means a lot! Side Note: I entered their monthly drawing and won a gift certificate to a local business and a great "goodie bag." Not too shabby! They offer medical massage and have a team of massage therapists to ease your aches and pains. I just had my first medical massage by Ashley, and experienced an hour of great massage by someone who has been gifted with healing hands. I was relaxed and energized all at the same time. I went to Heppner Chiropractic for about a year after my auto accident that left me with neck and back pain and a concussion. Initially I was seeing Dr. Harger who I was happy with, although I didn't feel particularly well connected with him as a chiropractor. A little bit of up-selling products made me unsure BUT he was nice enough that I continued visiting him honestly not realizing better was out there. It wasn't until Harger was out and I booked with Dr. Ryan McDaid that I realized how much I was missing out on. McDaid is amazing, got me through the end of my accident visits AND through a pregnancy keeping me in great shape (he even adjusted me when I was feeling discomfort in my lower back on a Friday, after which I went into labor right on my due date!) I can rave endlessly, but will do so on his new company's Yelp page instead because he is no longer practicing at Heppner Chiropractic. He opened up Chiropractic 503 and my husband and I have happily followed him there (although I must say I we are overdue for a visit)! After receiving OK care from Harger, I wouldn't go back unless McDaid was practicing there again. 503 Chiropractic it is for us from now on! read more

#1 Best Chiropractor Ever!!! Dr. Ryan McDaid is truly the best Chiropractor I have ever had in 42 years of treatments. I've seen 15 different Chiropractors, and Dr. Ryan tops them all. His patients affectionately call him Dr. Ryan. Dr. Ryan is the most positive, professional, helpful, and happy person. His knowledge and passion makes him a joy to work with to improve my medical needs. He gives you all the information you need to improve your health. He even takes extra time to go over my x-rays, bonescan, and MRI. Dr. Ryan explains everything to me which really puts me at ease. He has extensive medical and anatomic knowledge which I really want from my Chiropractor. I started seeing Dr. Ryan just this year in 2016. I have chronic neck and lower back pain, inflamed SI joints, and sciatica from old and new injuries. I know how important it is to maintain a proper alignment for a good foundation of my body. The pain and tightness I come in with when I see Dr. Ryan is gone immediately after his adjustments. Amazing! I always receive a thorough treatment everytime I get an adjustment from Dr. Ryan. He always makes sure that I'm ready with stretching my neck and back with his hands, giving me accupressure where my sciatic is flared up, massaging my neck and back if needed, heating my lower back while the table moves to loosen up my muscles, and then he gives me the most gentle and healing adjustments. I trust him completely and feel safe in his care. I know that painful "crack" I have had with other Chiropractors that has scared me with the intense pain that comes with it is something I've never had with Dr. Ryan. Dr. Ryan truly has magical techniques without that feared force. No one has ever been able to adjust my neck without hurting me but Dr. Ryan has always adjusted me pain free. He's also helped me with finding equipment to help me at home between visits to do my own health maintenance. Dr. Abby Heppner is one of the worst chiropractors I have ever been to and will never go to again. If I could give her zero stars I would. She lies about pricing and cares more about money than caring for patients. When I called to schedule the appointment I specifically asked the receptionist if they took my insurance. The doctor verified they do and it'd be no issue. I also spoke with my insurance company which said i had coverage to see them. I get a call on my way to the appointment the next day and they tell me they don't think my insurance will cover it and I'd be billed $107 for the visit as a cash patient. When I got to their office I spoke with Dr. Heppner who pretended to be understanding at first....but she made it very clear right away that I needed to be ok with paying the $107 or she wouldn't treat me. She straight up lied about their pricing and said they normally charge well over $200 for the new patient exam plus $55 for the adjustment, so she was giving me a deal at $107 and can't lower it more than that. Their website clearly says it's $150 for new patient exams and $52 for adjustments. Most chiropractors I know wave the new patient costs and lower the adjustment fees for cash patients or are at least are willing to work with you to find a reasonable fee so you can get care. Dr. Heppner did not care I was in severe pain and needed care. She told me I needed to approve payment for $107 or get out of her office. Dr. Heppner only cares about the money. read more
