She did not return calls in a timely manner and became very edgy when we asked her to physically visit us. I think she quickly went through our home two times, except for bringing someone through. We were satisfied with the price we got, but we felt she did little to contribute to that. Since she had done far less than expected to market our house, which sold before it was in multiple listings, we asked her and her manager for a lowering of commission. They were both unreceptive and not forthright. Where is the work ethic of yore? Why should one earn such a vast amount for partially doing her job? Why did we have to keep phoning her? I don't enjoy giving poor reviews, but it was deserved.

Jeff Dolfinger was our landlord who is also a broker for CENTURY 21 Hudson Valley Realty. He took…read moreadvantage of my pregnant wife and I knowing we were moving in from out of state. The unit was under construction when we viewed it and Jeff made every promise the unit and surrounding property would be cleaned prior to our arrival. On move in day we arrived to find all of the materials from the remodel dumped in the driveway (to which we couldn't even park) and backyard. Nails, glass, metal and debris of all kinds. It took Jeff Dolfinger over 2 weeks to even partially clean up the hazardous areas and then never came back to finish the job. Our front porch consisted of pallets containing roofing and flooring materials that were left for the duration of our stay. At week 4 the pipes backed up due to the upstairs tenants which left fecal matter all over the front yard and entry way. After repeated attempts to get Jeff to make good on this health hazard we decided to cut our losses and terminate the lease. This process involved Jeff threatening legal action against us. Due to the stressful nature and health concerns for our future child we paid the slumlord and moved on.
